Er yeah.... it's over.....nobody cares.....AFC won I guess....they don't really allow tackles anymore....never mind.....

 

WHAT......I missed the Pro Bowl...

 

Sure looked a lot like Steeler regular season - 6 Steeler starters on offense with MT at HC and Fitchner at OC. BB et al fizzled on 3 drives - one settled for a FG and another one threw an INT. Best play (fun to watch) was a handoff right to Bell who reversed a left handoff to AB who then threw a left-handed pass 30-40 yds downfield for an almost reception. Turned it off after Steelers left the field. Why Florida? At least when in Hawaii they always fade in and out of commercials with all those sexy shots of the fab beaches. This game - just a rain filled snooze fest.

 

I wish they'd decide if the Pro Bowl is just a bit of fun - and make it proper cartoon fun - or if it's a genuine accolade for the best players in the league, given them an incentive to win and have a proper match.

The halfway house is really lame.

The trick play with Ben/Bell/AB was good - why not do that kind of thing on every play? Or smuggled in an extra ball for one play. Or lined up all the QBs at WR and have a Centre throw the ball. Or have 8 guys marking one WR, and the QB still throws it to him. Give teams a springboard to deploy on certain plays for LBs to somersault over the LOS. Etc. etc.

The only other amusing bit was when Brees was trying to keep his kids under control on the sideline.

 

At least Ben wasn't the only AFC QB that threw an interception in the Pro Bowl.

 

End this facade, nobody wants to play anyway.
