Steelers need a major upgrade at HC, DC and OLB coach. Too much talent squandered on offense and a huge vacuum of talent on defense.

"I thought we could get a stop"-Mike Tomlin on why they elected to punt on 4th down with 9 minutes left.

The defense couldn't stop a turtle from crossing a highway today.

Oh good use of Biff. He has a lot in common with Tomlin:

    1. Makes us want to go back in time when we had a defense.
    2. Also uses cliches.
    3. Always around and in manure like the defense.

I'll say it again I'd have taken PI calls all day it would have been better than uncontested catches.

97 points the last two home games. Not on the road, at home. Where you should have the greatest advantage.

Unreal. I’ve been the biggest Tomlin defender. No more.

    Today was prime example.

You get down 21-0, fight back to tie it by halftime. 21-21.

You think adjustments or improvements be made. Nope, same crap on defense. Give up an easy TD to start 2nd half. Momentum popped.

I've been complaining about him since about 2010. Back then I started to see things I hated, although I was skeptical of him from day 1. Didn't like the things he was saying or his track record. I just didn't see how he managed to fool the Rooney's into hiring him, he wasn't qualified.

It's actually been kind of exhausting being so frustrated about the team due to one man and seeing absolutely no change of any kind.

wish we could get THE JAW back. Even though many thought he choked in playoffs/big games. At least he ran a tight ship and did let his players walk all over him.

I can honestly say this about Cowher. When they were down 21-0 and came back to tie it today, they wouldn't have lost the game. The defense would have been fired up coming out of the locker room after halftime.

    Tomlin provides no fire.

If someone told me as recent as last year.... the Steelers scored 37 points and lost the game. I would have thought this individual to be insane.

you're right. A Cowher defense probably wouldn't have given up another point. DISCIPLINE!

Once Ben retires well all see how garbage he really is as a coach.. It's kinda like with the cavs or warriors they can just throw any scrub in there as coach and that's exactly what Tomlin is a scrub

Hungry is a word that I've been analyzing here of late. It's not hunger that drives me, it's not hunger that needs to drive our football team. Hunger and thirst are things that can be quenched. We have to be a driven group, we have to seek greatness.

If our team doesn't face enough adversity early on in a season, I create it. Nothing builds a team like adversity.

    0-1-1: Adversity
    At Tampa this week: Adversity
Every player on defense not named Tuitt or Watt: Adversity
Locker room cancers everywhere AND off the field: Adversity

    Yep,you got adversity Mike.

Yeah I've been accused of that a few times myself. I used to get crapped on a lot because everyone loved Tomlin, but these days, it seems at least half of the STeelers fans I talk to agree with me. All the media talking heads are discussing it, most fans are discussing it, former players are talking about it, so I'm hoping the front office is seeing the problems with a Tomlin led team

MT supporters will say, he has a winning record, been to 2 SBs, won a SB, other teams would love to have a HC with that level of success, and so forth. Those things are true, but this isn't the browns. Winning SBs is expected in Pittsburgh. So is having a stout defense. Tomlin has won 3 playoff games in the past 7 years... ONLY 3 in 7 years. Sorry but that just isn't acceptable here. And neither is having one of the worst defenses in the NFL, especially when you are a supposed defensive expert coach. Well, your defense made Mahomes look like an all pro today, Mike. And your squad is tied for last with the browns.

Tough decisions have to be made. Just like when LSU fired Les Miles four games into the season after going 9-3 the year prior. LSU expects to win championships and Les did it in the past but had to go. Other teams fans would have loved to have a 9-3 team but their expectations are much lower because they haven't experienced that type of success.

I think Mike has been marking time for too long now and grossly underachieving with a roster stacked with talent. I'm in the FMTI camp.

Bottom line you're either getting the job done or you're not he's not after 12yrs of being average and drafting poorly as a Steeler fan it's time for a wholesale defensive coaching change

I don't think it's about being racist, if you're a Steeler fan it's about tradition and the last 12yrs with Tomlin has been below average, he's drafted poorly, he's not a motivator and doesn't provide locker room discipline, it's time for a wholesale defensive coaching overhaul
