let's just say they compliment each other and with both on the field they make our offense better.

James = good catcher and very durable.
Vance = fast, strong, and great run blocker

 

It is certainly a benefit to have them both and they do complement one another, but if only one is going to play, it should be McDonald due to the dimension he brings as a blocker.

I know man, it was a joke. I've seen the light. As I stated before, I want Vance to be the best TE in the league (as long as he's a Steeler). Maybe he's over the injury bug and can really make an impact on this offense for years to come.
I think Jesse improves each season and seems like the definition of a team player (not that Vance isn't), but this may be his last season as a Steeler if Vance stays healthy and keeps showing what he did last night. I don't know if the Steelers can afford both of them, with JJ's contract being up at the end of the season (I think).
