It’s everything. This whole offense is whack.

 

It isn't hearing footsteps when you have a free rusher at the snap. It is a poor decision to bail to the left rather than try to climb to the right. I'm not sure he could have escaped the rush that way either, but it would have been the better choice.

That said, Pickens has to take some blame for that drive for short-arming the throw earlier in the series.

There were two holds on that third-down pass to Nacua. Adams was held inside and No. 5 held Porter to turn it into a big play. They also got a pick inside with no call. The receiver didn't screen a defender. He slammed into him. That has to be called.
