I don't even think that is a lack of trust in Pickett. I don't think they trust the line to give him any time.

 

Why can’t we get out of an offensive play like a real NFL team. We just keep running plays that have no chance to work.

I'm not even joking. The Steelers should have some read option in. Pickett can hurt these guys with his legs. It would also take pressure off the RBs. Also throwing screens and running draw plays will help off set their rush/pressures!

 

We should trade Harris now while he might still b worth something , then draft a new RB next year early ish

Because a pass play that would gain 14 yards takes time and the pass blocking isn't holding up. A sack could knock them out of field goal range. I don't love it, but with the offensive line struggling and a young quarterback who is struggling, it was probably the right call.
