Whatever chance Pickett had to be good, it was ruined by Tomlin and Canada, and those two share EQUAL blame. I was no lover of the Pickett draft pick, but no way he should be this bad. The coaching has likely already ruined him. I see no chance for our next QB either. Remember, Ben was, mercifully, established before Tomlin arrived, or that too may have been the HOF QB that never was.

He doesn't sequence his plays or understand the concept

He simply calls plays, the same 5 or so over n over

You only sit him if you’re ready to bench him for good. I don’t see us playing winning football anywhere else on offense, so it’s hard to say it’s on Pickett entirely. If we were playing good ball and Pickett couldn’t get it done, then sure. But it’s a losing effort for all 11 players and the coordinator all the same. Putting Triubisky in isnt going to change that.

 

There are around 28 other QBs that are probably better than Kenny as well. We are stuck with him as our QB. Stroud is better.

Isnt that hilarious? Steeler fans couldnt wait to get rid of him. Yet Texans off line looks way better than ours! Things that make you go hmmm

 

I'm really not sure how they took so long to figure it out. Stroud was in the tackle box and there was nobody near where he threw the ball. It should be an easy call, but at least they eventually got it right.

 

There's a lot of blame to go around for this "product". Has anyone questioned the O line coach? No one seems to have taught these guys how to block!
