There was nothing underneath there, I mean he definitely misses the LB but they didn’t occupy him with anything to keep him from dropping.

And, it’s exactly what I expected when they hired Smith bc that’s just who he is. Chicken**** mentality just like Tomlin & Austin. I’ve HATED the Smith hire since the day it was announced. Such a letdown after FINALLY getting rid of Canada.

Yes, I thought Porter Jr was out and you are right he’s a big loss. That’s a big reason they are wide open on almost every play. I mean he can’t stop every play but shutdown his side of the field.
