The difference is the lack of value for what they are paying this defense. One potential HoF'er, two solid sometime All-Pros, a decent, young OLB'er, a decent corner and a collection of stiffs.

D can’t stop run when we know it’s coming. The qb throws to wrong team three times. Special teams flags and a 18 punt and a blocked fg. Total embarrassment on all three phases

 

To be perfectly fair, Mitch throwing three picks is the difference. However, our defense is getting torched on the ground and hasn't made any splash plays. Enough blame to go around.
