I didn't say they lost because of Tomlin. He just had a look of living in his fears.

i agree pickens is a cancer just like antonio brown was at end, martavis bryant and so many other drama WR that the steelers have had. its always a me first team 2nd. the steelers need to draft character over talented drama queens.

 

The steelers clearly need major changes. It must be at the HC level. I'll at least be curious and hopeful to see what someone new can do. With Tomlin, we know exactly what he is capable of and it is mediocre at best. We have too many years of the same thing to know that he is incapable of anything else.

 

Pickens was a nonfactor out there he was clearly not invested.....it was obvious

 

The final four weeks he has not been the best but he has played below average. First 10 weeks though?! Much different story.

 

Watt doesn't deserve DPOY this year. If he gets it, it's as bad (if not worse) than Garrett last year.

 

That's what happens when you have the most expensive defense in the league and do not have a top 10 QB on a rookie contract.

 

Actually the loss is on Pickens, Wilson, and Moore.

 

Missing a wide-open Pickens was his fault. They had the chance to win the game and he couldn’t do the thing he does best, throw an accurate deep pass.

 

My buddy says how many times does Pickens drop consecutive balls like that

Can't score on the worst D in the NFL..We really suck BIG TIME

 

russell made a terrible decision to run and stay in bounds... he made up for it by putting the ball right on the money to put us in field goal range, but it was dropped. this team is just lousy and will finish the season floundering as usual.

 

But Holmes could and did make big plays in big games. Pickens has made some freakish catches to be sure, but he has said and done an equal number of stupid things. And he was nothing but a liability out there tonight.

 

Tomlin being Tomlin at the presser........he has got to go

 

Sadly, he got an extension this offseason. Firing coaches isn't something the Rooney's do historically. That said, AR II specifically that he has had enough of losing consistently in the playoffs. I wonder if one more massive loss is going to be the breaking point.

 

He shouldn't even be in the top 3 this year.

 

He had a bad game, but I don't think he dropped them on purpose.

 

It shouldn’t have come to that. It should have been won when Pickens got open behind the defense and Wilson had time to throw it to him.

 

He has looked like this for years...not just tonight. The guy is wayyyy past his service life in Pittsburgh. As long as he is wearing the headphones on the Steelers sideline, this is what we as fans can expect.

 

Tomlin thinks if he gets talented players then they just play great when you get them motivated. He depends on that. He doesn't think they need coaching. He depends on "splash plays". I don't think he knows how to coach anyone up. Nobody gets better under Tomlin. They all get worse. Because they don't get coached. We need a coach.

 

He might still be dinged up, but so is everyone else. He is likely starting down the backside of his career. Good for Hendrickson, but Watt wasn't facing Dan Moore, either.

 

The year is 2025, the league is the NFL, without a solid QB it’s impossible to win and nothing else is really that important

that’s why teams don’t give a **** about running backs anymore vs 15 years ago, that’s why teams with good QB’s don’t give a **** about WR’s cuz there elite QB’s develop no body WR’s into elite ones and every vet comes to them teams at cheap deals cus they wanna play for a winner
