Silly me. I stand by what I write when it is likely that I am right. That Harris's arm was in a sling today indicates that he was hurt during the game, most likely on that play. That he went back in doesn't change that. We have seen players try to gut it when they shouldn't before. Take Cam Heyward's injury last season. He battled with that all of training camp, then tore it far worse in the opener. Hopefully, this isn't something that severe, but the current available evidence supports my theory that he wasn't just getting a breather on that drive.

Don't worry. I don't expect you to apologize for misjudging my original point or personal attack you followed up with today.

It's almost as if we shouldn't rub things in another poster's face when there is new information but before all of the information is available.

I was just having a little fun with your premature jump to a conclusion that his return somehow proved that Harris wasn't either hurt or getting a moment to think about the stupid thing he did when he was pulled for a few plays yesterday. I'm not sure why you chose to make a big deal out of my in-game speculation, something that many posters do all the time, but a little good-natured mirroring today seemed appropriate.

That I can take it does not mean it was warranted, though I was cleaning up my post in an edit before you responded. As I wrote in that, I'm not sure why you chose to make a big deal out of me doing some in-game speculation, which happens quite often. I do stick to my guns when I think I make a valid point just as you do. I guess that makes me insufferable.

Let's just hope all this injury stuff is speculation, too, and Harris is back on the field in Indy.
