I agree somewhat, but officiating is like injuries, every team has to deal with it and luck plays into it. It seems to balance out over the course of a full season. I don't think the officials are out to get any team. Wouldn't NE be on top of their hit list, since Goodell is the puppet master?

Somebody brought up the thought that the Steelers should have signed a safety or a defensive lineman instead of Green. Yes, they should have gone harder after Weddle, but they just spent big money a few years back on Mitchell and he sucked again tonight.

I'm not sure what defensive lineman they were getting with that money, but really, who knew that they were going to lose Heyward? He had been incredibly durable before this season and he was sorely missed tonight.
