Gotta admit, I turned it off after three quarters. Watching the Steelers lose is one (barely tolerable) thing, but I CANNOT STAND watching the Cheatriots win.

(I couldn't even bring myself to watch their last couple games just as recon.)

The funny thing is that they're really not that physical of a team. I mean who thinks "hardnosed smashmouth" when they think NE? Yet when they play us they look like the dang Steel Curtain out there imposing their will. That's honestly the most irritating part of it for me. No one really minds a butt kicking from a genuine tough guy but when it's a pretty boy that does it that's when it's pretty embarrassing.

Ben has taken so much more punishment than Brady has so that would make sense. I want Ben to play forever but I'm sure his body is telling him to stop.

I feel heartbreak. Nothing but pain. My cousin says he isn't going to be a fan anymore. Obviously I'm in this for life. Argh just hurts.

I agree that it will die down once we don't have to deal with Brady any more in a few years. However, I am not so sure the Pats fans will go away. They're going on 15 years now of domination and that's been a whole generation of kids growing up across the country and seeing them winning and becoming fans. I mean isn't that a large reason why the Steelers have so many fans?

True story: A Pats fan around my age (and I'm old enough to have witnessed all 6 of our SBs) had some smack talk going with me the other night. He said "We own the Steelers in the playoffs. You guys have never beaten us."

I pointed out that they lost to a Kordell Stewart led team in the '97 season. And then added, "But that's ok that you didn't know that. You were probably still a Cowboy fan then."

    He had no come back.

If Brady keeps going out there having 10 seconds in the pocket all day long I'd say you're right.

My point exactly. This young kid at work was telling me about how he was a "pats fan" and I said "Who was their qb before Brady"? He goes
"Who cares? We weren't good then." In other words "I don't know because I'm a bandwagon fan..."
