Why did Tomlin side with Ray Ray on the taunting penalty?

I hate the taunting penalties but Tomlin was a leading voice in instituting them.

Why is Ray Ray even giving the appearance of taunting down 30-0? All the other player would have to say is "Scoreboard."

I just found out the Chiefs player, Sneed, was out the previous two games because his brother was stabbed to death.

Why are Steelers fans bad people for unknowingly booing Harvin's shanked punt with his terminally ill father in attendance; but I have to find out in YouTube comments that Tomlin supported his player trash talking and taunting a player whose brother was just murdered knowingly?!

 

Last/and only Super Bowl win was in 2009 against Arizona in the Tomlin era, why they still keeping that turd around? 15 years is enough, time to move on! Change the culture!

Sharpe had been out of the league 4-5 years by the time Tomlin was hired, but he has some knowledge of what is being taught/coached?

 

One of the things that made Chuck such a great coach was that he was an accomplished, hands-on teacher. It's one of the reasons why he was able to take some mediocre teams to the playoffs. They might not have been stacked with talent, but they paid attention to the details, technique and did the little things the right way. You don't see that with this team. You have some scrap heap player like Witherspoon celebrating a defensed passed when his team is down by four possessions. I can't help but believe that both Noll and Cowher would have spontaneously combusted. Too many of these guys have no respect for the logo. To them, the Steelers have become a steppingstone to a better situation and more money elsewhere, at least in their mind. A purge is needed.

 

wow, that's a huge compliment for me. Unfortunately i'm not from Pittsburgh and indeed from the second best place in the world. Probably the reason is that I've been reading here every day for years. Seems to have quite an impact on my personality.. maybe it is also the case that die-hard fans of class act sports teams with a great history and culture always be on the same page. Anyway, should the Steelers ever come to Germany or London you will see my terrible towel waving in the stadium.

 

The thing is now, It's gone on for so long, with so many different players....How do you stop it now?

It's like any pattern in life...like a child that screams and throws fits at every turn, and you condone it...Then one day do you think you're gonna say to said child " ok that's enough, just stop " and they'll stop...

The " brand " and " culture " has been set with Tomlin....How do you get it back now?

SS is a loud mouthed idiot. But I still agree.

 

He might be but compared to the other commentators out there i find him more right / or correct when speaking abt things in the NFL..... I kinda like the fact he goes against the grain, when he is speaking abt coaches or players...JMO

 

You don't think SS talks to ex players, or coaches, or has sources...? I bet not every player , or ex player of Tomlins has high praise for his coaching abilities or lack of,,,

Another thing. That show with Skip only talks about 3 things mainly. You can stop watching for a week, a month, or a year ,and any time you turn it on, and it be about 3 things, or something 2 do with them....Tom Brady, Dallas Cowboys, or L. James.....everything else is just filler.

 

I dont watch the show often,, but when aIdo SS schools Skip, lol SS used to be on that show on the NFL netwrk with D.Sanders and LT , And SS made more since then both of them ... lol
