Exactly. We have trying to get a developmental 5 tech for years and have failed with Demarvin Leal and Loudermilk. Thus guy needs to put on weight but he has the length and tenacity they look for.

Not surprised at all by this pick. I like it. My only concern is cb but if there is no value at that position at this point no point in wasting a pick. I hope they have a plan in free agency to get a couple cb’s. They probably will bring in JPJ’s cousin on a fa rookie contract. He is athletic but small and in experienced but might be a fit at slot eventually.

I have a feeling Sutton is coming back.

I am not sure if Leal has any trade value. Granted, the Texans traded for Kendrick Green and that has seemed to work out well for him. That all said, Green's issue was never his effort but the incorrect fit he had in Pittsburgh.

Leal?! Not sure how you can trade someone who lacks motivation.

CRAP! Not that we needed more O players, Bubba Means(crush) went last round.

Quite happy with Logan Lee, but think I would have went with King, or Hall.

Do we double up here and take another developmental 5T in Gabe Hall from Baylor? Or throw a dart at a legacy pick like Brendan Rice?

the way the draft broke there were no slot corners that worked. Others have already said it, but this could indicate they will bring cam sutton back maybe. Or that they see Deontae Jackson as an inside guy maybe.

I guess they also like Trice and Rush as much as I do.

What is wrong with Brenden Rice? Bring him in the fold.

I think they’ve already told Sean Stevens (JPJ’s cousin) that he’s a priority udfa

If were gonna fade CB completely I'd still like to see WR Tahj Washington for his tenacity as a run blocker.

I didn't watch any Iowa football. When I read his scout report it said in strengths, "powerful lower body with the ability to hold up at the point of attack". Then under weaknesses, "average lower body strength and struggles to anchor at the point of attack".

    :shrug::hmm:

They don't need another small WR with CAlll and Roman Wilson already on the team.

Given how Isaiahh might also be gone, I wouldn't rule out that possibility. Gabe Hall isn't as quick as Lee but he is a lot longer. Problem is, his leverage woes are a bit worse than Lee's is. He can mitigate them with his long arms.

Definitely dont need a third one but I'm really wondering if CAIII has a chance to survive roster cuts at all in this Arty Smith system

I think the Steelers would have the edge in getting him (and the Penn State corners) signed as UDFA if not drafted

    Damn!

Kahn and Weidl do enjoy Interior Lineman with Wrestling backgrounds!! Why wouldn't they; teaches a lot of the basics and fundamentals of leverage, discipline and control.

Granted, Logan Lee still needs to work on it but perhaps he will be a quick study.

Ryan Watts is a big corner just like Joey Jr and Trice. We now will have 3 6'3" corners in camp.
