Jones has done well at right but he could be even better at Left .

 

Ok, but thinkin Mims was their man and they settled. Happens.

 

Some pundits think he's the best Center in the draft, better than Barton or JPJ.

 

I've seen that, too, but that is a projection. I doubt he is going to play there as a rookie.

 

Not splashy, but solid pick.

 

I really wish we had gone with a center...but it is what it is.

 

Yep. Clearly they decided they were taking a tackle no matter what

 

No I'm upset because they Didn't take the BPA....they took who was left at Tackle. If the 3rd best Tackle is your thing cool...., but there was BPA at many other positions

 

Maybe we trade up for a center if we are worried about this!

 

Matt Williamson actually said yesterday that he's heard rumblings of Fautanu playing Center. Under 6'4, quick feet, and powerful.

I know you wrote that in green but that may be possible

Going to be some really good players in the second round.

 

Just awful. They are gonna try and put him at center. He’s not an NFL tackle and we don’t need guards. I cannot believe they found a way to screw that up. What a waste.

hope I’m wrong of course, but now we are left hoping this isn’t Kendrick Green 2.0 and facing another year of wasting a LT we traded up for at RT. Or best case scenario try him at RT (with his lack of NFL length) and scrape the bottom of the barrel reaching for one of the lower tier centers

I hate this pick, may as well draft WR with all remaining picks.

and I know the front office knows way more than me, but this one blows. If you didn’t think Barton was a sure thing then take a corner for crying out loud

 

Maybe the move the dude to Center like they did with Green.

 

Seems like a Andy Weidl pick. Philly did this years ago when they built up the line.

That always used to be our mantra and then when we went away from it we missed!

 

Kiper just mentioned that. He said the Steelers could move him to center.

He’s probably staying at RT I would imagine. Talented guy that fell. Mins was always the high ceiling guy that might be a huge bust. Fautanu seems like a guy that has a super high floor. I am not an OL coach by any means, but I can’t say I hate it.

We had our choice of CB’s, C’s and Fautanu. We took Troy. I’ll trust them with this one.

 

I get that but prefer to take a player established at his position in rd 1.
