It looks like we can pretty much start the draft, because the Steelers have filled most of their needs and the Steelers picks may be best player available at LT or CB with picks 17 and 32, and DL at 49.

I'd say lets wait for the weekend. Three days of free agency for other teams to figure out what they need.

We normally start on Monday because people may have plans for the weekend and not be around.

Want to make that official? What time Monday should we kick it off though?

9 AM Monday works for me. Someone should figure out the time in Celsius, since @Bob in Canada has the first pick.

Considering that folk has like 12 hours to pick, I'm assuming my Jagoffs won't be on the clock until next Friday :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::cool:

Some picks take 12 hours, some take 12 minutes. It's just like the regular draft- some teams take all the allotted time, the Steelers race to the podium.

Some people disappear for two days, miss their pick, and then come back after someone has made their pick for them, get upset, and quit playing (although to be fair that really hasn't happened the last couple of years- we weeded them out).

Although I'm not in charge, some basic rules for posting I've seen over the years-
    Player selections should be posted:
"With the # pick in the # round, the (team) selects (player) (position) (college)." Followed by the name of the person with the next pick. @Bob in Canada would put @steelersrock151. I usually post the time I made my pick in EDT, but that's not required.

Please keep commentary about picks in the main thread, not the picks thread. Makes it easier for the mods.

If you're open to a trade, announce it in the trades thread, but if you're making an offer, do it in conversation. To the best of my knowledge, you may only trade this year's picks and players on your roster as of 9:00 am Monday. No trading future picks.

This is supposed to be fun. Try to keep it that way.

When is the actual cutoff for rosters? Cause it looks like Houston just picked up a 5th rounder, and Dallas @Hawaii 5-0 just picked up Brandon Cooks.

You should have taken Anthony Richardson. Put Fields at Tailback and Richardson at Fullback and ran Pop Warner's old single wing.

This has to be the craziest pick in the draft, because we all know what Aaron Rodgers thinks of his team spending a 1st round pick on a QB.

LOL... Aaron Rodgers being a good mentor to anyone.

In our mock draft, the jets have traded their second round pick for Aaron Rodgers.

@blackandgoldpatrol Cam was the Ravens other option at 22. Just the way it looked, it'll be easier to get a good cb in round three (my next pick for them) than a good wr.

Last year the 1st round took five days. We're on schedule to meet that.
