Jalen Pitre from Baylor is the best one on the board. He is a Swiss army knife type of player that can play all over the secondary. He is a good Blitzer, a very strong tackler, has good ball skills and has good speed. He has a second round grade on him so he would be a good choice here.

    1. Next safety's up (not sure if they are SS or FS), Bryan Cook, Cincinnati ; Kerby Joseph, Illinois, both are on my list around 75-95 overall pick.... so a bit of a stretch for pick 52..... edit: Jalen Pitre/Baylor as Hanratty said..... but again, not sure if they are SS or FS material.... that's not my forte

I am still thinking Winfrey. I agree Ridder is a good value pick, but so is Winfrey. If the Steelers were to select Ridder, that pretty much takes them out of the conversation for one of the 2023 QBs. So if the Steelers struggle with Trubisky, then they would have to play Ridder over Rudolph to see what they have going into next year. Rudolph would have little value in a trade. Winfrey protects them from Tuitt not playing, or adds depth to the d-line rotation.

Ya know, if they were sure of a 100% recovery, I would start to consider Ojabo here.

    My top 6 now:

    Daniel Faalele OL Minnesota
    Logan Hall DL Houston
    Jalen Pitre S Baylor
    David Ojabo Edge Michigan
    Skyy Moore WR W. Michigan
    Desmond Ridder QB Cincinnati

I've narrowed my choices down to 3.
Daniel Faalele-He is so huge and athletic that you could put him at RT and have him solidify that spot for a decade.
Jalen Pitre- Safety is an immediate need and he could step in and start right away and make a big impact with his skill set.
Perrion Winfrey- He has a first round grade on him from Pro Football Network. Like mytake stated Tuitt's status is still up in the air so drafting Winfrey would solve the problem if Tuitt is a no show again.

I want to vote for Winfrey, but may have to throw my vote to Travis Jones. If the Steelers go McDuffie-Ridder, I am not sure what to think.

    I vote for Desmond Ridder

I'm torn between Ridder and Faalele. Winfrey is interesting as well. But Faalele won't get enough votes and Travis Jones and Winfrery will split. So why not go with the winner.

    Current count

    Ridder 5
    Travis Jones 1

It certainly looks like Ridder is the winner but I will be stubborn and cast my official vote for the position with the most need-Jalen Pitre - Safety from Baylor.

Trubiksy signing messed me up, I was all for taking a QB this year but I keep thinking maybe they should ride with Trubiksy and then if he doesn’t have it, address the QB position in a better draft class in 2023.

Travis Jones would be a good pick here but the fact is, Trubiksy may just be who he was in Chicago, an average but not great QB and I wouldn’t want to miss out on getting one that I think has all the tools to be a very good QB in Ridder.

My official vote: Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati
