You Maybe correct, but out of the CBs that were still on the board that's who I was looking at, and He will come down ,and tackle. What We don't need is a guy that will shy away from contact. Though like You say may not translate in the NFL.

That would depend on who he is playing. If he was handsy with one of Brady's receivers there would be more flags flying than the 4th of July.

6 picks until the Steelers pick in the 2nd..... personally, I feel they will need a WR, but the WR's available now are projected to be later in the draft.

My next available are David Bell, Purdue and George Pickens, Georgia..... I believe I'd seen that the steelers may have shown some interest in Pickens.... but not sure it was for a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

I believe Pickens is off the board and the Redskins are looking at Bell. Sorry 58.

Yeah I took Pickens with the #44 pick to the Browns. If we are looking at WR for the Steelers pick then maybe Skyy Moore will still be there.

Jalen Tolbert isn't that much of a reach. I see most draft sites have him going in the second round so it wasn't a bad pick at all.

Think Ridder has to be a strong consideration this pick. Great value there.

Was just about to say the same. Still some good Tackles on the board. Top Safetys are gone and WR pool is getting thin.

At this position in the draft, I have a hard time not looking at Travis Jones and Dan Faalele

    Im thinking

    OT
    Daniel Faalele
    Tyler Smith

    WR
    Alec Pierce
Wan Dale Robinson (Probably early for either guy but they may not make it to the 3rd)

    LB
    Brandon Smith

    QB
    Desmond Ridder

What about Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma? I am leaning towards Winfrey or Travis Jones.

I can choose a position I want, or I could choose what I think the Steelers would do in this situation.

I vote for Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati Bearcats.

A lot of mocks have a first round grade on Winfrey, he would be a good choice but I still haven't decided yet.

Sean Rhyan G/T from UCLA is considered the top run blocking OL in the draft but his pass blocking needs work. His scouting report says that he will excel for a team that likes to run the football. So he is someone else to be considered.
My finalists in no particular order are:
    Daniel Faalele OT from Minnesota
    Sean Rhyan G/T from UCLA
    Jalen Pitre Safety from Baylor
Skyy Moore WR from Western Michigan
    Perrion Winfrey DT from Oklahoma

    My Vote is Ridder.

I didn't think he would be there in the 2nd for us without moving up to get him. So, no WR vote in the 2nd round from me.

with the WR's thin, I would agree on best player available..... hmmmmm..... looking at the lists above, I feel most of those guys are ranked in the 100+ overall draft position from my sites..... I guess I will draft like I think the Steelers would..... my vote would be for Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati even though I think they should wait until next year to draft a QB..... I think he's the best value at this point and someone the Steelers have showed interest in.

I think perrion winfrey is a great value at this point, but we've spent so much improving the defense this offseason, I can't see them going D/D in 1/2 picks.

Who’s the safety you want? I’m not going to reach.

For me, so far it’s Ridder or Romeo Doubs, a WR out of Nevada.
