    Pick 102: Terrell Burgess

With their late third-round pick, there will still be plenty of safety talent on the board for the Steelers. Terrell Burgess is a versatile third safety option who would fit in well alongside Edmunds and Fitzpatrick. Though he is a bit undersized, Burgess has a high motor and high football IQ.

What he lacks in size he makes up for with positioning and awareness. He is a good tackler who would contribute in run support and makes plays on the ball in zone defense.

Terrell Burgess. Honestly, I haven’t been able to watch film on him, but we need a safety and he is #57 overall on PFF’s big board. Sounds good for pick #135.

If we don't take him here I imagine the chiefs would like him at 138. Couple him with Hill and Mahomes arm and teams best hope their secondary are on their toes!

Beyond Quez Watkins are there any other WR options we could look at here? I know hybrid WR/RB Antonio Gibson was mentioned briefly. Anything beyond that?

Well I am leaning towards Burgess but here is some names I could go along with:

S Wallace, OLB/Edge Highsmith and Willekes

If we are going truly BPA here is some names on my list:

    OT's - Charles, Durant, Adeniji
    OG - Lewis
    ILB - Weaver

Tons of DT's but I am not listing them cause I am not taking one again.

I could see the argument here for an OT but man Burgess, Highsmith or Willekes are all pretty good right here. I also feel later in the draft we could end up with WR Victor or Johnson. Also on my list Mckivitz is ranked 237 maybe he is there later but Murphy and Taylor are still there if not. Whats everyone think, been pretty quiet.......

A fair point but would add further to the 'teack team, that they're creating for Mahomes

How about WR Quartney Davis Texas A&M? I show Quez Watkins as the 235th rated player in the draft, so I don't see why we'd bump him up to the 4th, seems like a bit of a stretch.

Also, maybe we go with a RB like Anthony McFarland, Maryland? We went D, D, OL with our first 3 picks, seems logical we try to add depth to offense somewhere.

I like the value of Burgess here. If we don't go for him there is a good chance I pick him next with the dolphins. Well he's one of 4 I'm deciding between!

I'm sure Proche is rated much higher than Watkins, also. Not sure if he's still available, but he is a mid-to late 4th round prospect, and a damned good slot receiver.

Would have voted receiver if there was one worthy in this spot. Burgess much better value all day here.

My vote: Terrell Burgess, S, Utah

Top notch cover skills and versatile.

Well, disappointingly for the Dolphins I think 6 votes is enough to out Burgess over

I agree however look at the players left guess we shouldn't have went DT with pick 49. The talent level on the offensive side has fallen in the later rounds so we should have focused on the O, jmo
