I understand that and either did I but the facts are still the fact right we went defense with our first 2 picks.

if you were to consider that we took Minkah Fitzpatrick with our first round selection and Devin Bush as our third rounder we would have actually selected defensive players with our first four picks.

Your statement makes no sense, should have thought of that before we took two defensive players then. Say what, lol

I like Bryant but the fact that we have signed EE and have Gentry here as a back up to these guys makes Bryant here less attractive. As far as BPA no way is Bryant higher that Fromm, on by list Fromm is 26 Bryant is 124. I know all list are different and I didn't do the research but I am pretty sure most if not all list have Fromm ranked higher.

Throw in some other players still left out there like Breeland, Pinkney, Sullivan, Magnifico, Wolf and Houston we could find a back up later on....jmo.

I don't consider that since they both played last year.....we have to move on from that thinking. imo

I didn’t realize these guards were still available. Also Logan Stenberg. Jackson has a second rd grade and Lewis, Stenberg 3rd rd. I want to look at these guys a little bit before voting.

I'm asking this for the purpose of this pick but also as I need a WR for the fins - still can't believe 9 WR went within 24 picks and left me high and dry and semi-regretting my third 1st round pick...

Are there any wideouts that would be worthy of this pick?

Vote Tally so far. Let me know if I missed someone.

    1 Ben Bredeson, OG, Michigan
    1 Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
    1 Nick Harris, C, Washington
1 Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic

I’m leaning towards Jonah Jackson, G, Ohio

Versatile can play across the line, very smart football IQ. Between him and Fromm for me.

Here's an idea (or future idea) for submitting player's names. A poster nominates a player, but another poster must second the nomination, for the player to be eligible to be selected as the pick. For example, I nominate Harrison Bryant, but no other poster second's the nomination, then Harrison Bryant is not eligible to be picked. Allow members to only nominate one player and second only one nomination. This will limit the number of potential players to vote on.

I’m going to cast my vote for Jonah Jackson, G, Ohio.

He’s gotten positive reviews here in the offensive line thread and PFF and DN had this to say:

    PFF:

He may not have the ideal body type or the quickest feet or the most powerful frame, but Jonah Jackson is a broken record in pass protection. He ends more pass pro reps at the line of scrimmage than any other guard in the draft class. His short sets are impeccable, and he’s so quick to get his hands on guys and lock them up. Jackson won 58% of his reps in the one-on-ones in Mobile despite splitting his time between all three interior positions.

    Marino - Draft Network:

Can play both guard and center. Highly skilled at fitting his hands and keeping pass rusher at the end of his reach. Consistent with his set points and staying square as he mirrors. Good zone run blocker, showcasing good footwork and timing. Effective climbing to the second level and sealing pursuit. While he isn’t the most dominant drive blocker, he executes with a mean streak. Overall he has good body control and balance.

Not bad, something to consider for next year, we only have one more rd for this year, if we even squeak that one out. We’ll vote Steelers either way, we’ve done that before when running out of time.
