San Francisco 49ers 2019 draft class

1. Nick Bosa - EDGE - With no free agency signings in this world this filled a big need and the 49ers were delighted to get the consensus 'best prospect in the draft here'

2. Taylor Rapp - Safety - Help was needed in this position and had this pick after trading back in the 2nd to get back into the 3rd. Rapp for me is a top 2 safety in this class and based on what I've read on this board is seemingly underrated. He plays with a great deal of intelligence and represents an immediate upgrade.

Trade for 3rd round pick - Odell Beckham Jr - WR - Picking up weapons for Jimmy G was a big priority so picking up one of the more dynamic receivers in the league was a great move.

DK Metcalf, Marquise Brown, AJ Brown, N'Keal Harry, Parris Campbell, Hakeem Butler, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Andy Isabella, Emanuel Hall were all taken before this pick would have been made and even the most ardent OBJ haters will surely admit he sits nearer the top of this list!

OBJ with effectively the 67th pick represents the best value of the 49ers picks.

4. JoeJuan Williams - CB - Another positional need covered with Williams. A big, physical corner who's speed on tape is belied by his slow 40 time at the combine.
