Man giving up the 2nd seems steep.

Giving up the 2nd hurts, they need to trade back into 2nd. Not sure how I feel about this.

Depends on how much they're in a "win now" mood.

And if there's someone else they're coveting.

    Crazier things have happened.

They have 2 in the 3rd, plus 2 in the 5th, could maybe trade up into the 2nd round

    YEP!!!

As I said; find the correct trading partner. For all we know, some good talent yet. Still hoping for Sean Bunting to make it to pick 63. :herewego:

We dont have one supposedly lol.

I'm happy with this pick, I think his blitz ability gives him a high floor, his athleticism is on par with white, maybe his ceiling is just a bit lower.

Isn't a future 3rd only worth a 4th round pick this year? If so it works out close.

My old man memory is fuzzy, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Isn't the last time we traded up in the 1st when we went after Troy Polamalu?

Let's pray this guy ends up having a similar impact.

I would move our 2 3rds to get back into round 2. Probably late 40s.

    Lots of options.

    CGJ
    Arcega Whiteside
    Maybe a CB

Which shows you how outdated and unreliable they are. Every team has their own value on players. If this pans out he was a steal, if not we lost out on a top 50 player this year and a top 80 next. The last time they did this it worked, here's hoping history repeats itself/.

Them giving up the 3rd rounder in 2020 not largely huge because it’s believed they will get a 3rd round comp pick for losing bell. They also have 2 3rd rounders this year. So they could move up yet with the extra 5th pick and get into the 2nd. But there is a lot of good offensive talent in later rounds this draft, thus the large run on defensive talent thus far of the 1st round

Santonio too. He was a SB MVP.

    Trust Colbert on this one.

I originally had Bush outside round 1 because I didn't see the athleticism that he showed at the combine.

Also just about everyone was positive on Bush. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Their early 3rd and probably a 5 th can get them back in. But how far and if it's worth it is the question. The 3rd is essentially a late 2nd anyway

It's hard to complain. Most of the other proposed trades involved more valuable picks than what we eventually gave up

We still have 2 picks tomorrow so I'm happy.

    Smart trade by Colbert.

I just hope Bush is the player many think he is. Pro Bowl or bust. :lolol:
