We will be drafting a pair of 4' corners with prestigious family pedigree, The Keebler brothers.

This is terrible. I like the first three kids but really question when we took them and the focus on offense. That 4th pick is horrid, esp with Phillips sitting right there. I can't remember the last time I hated a draft this much. Ignoring RB and the front 7 on D is inexcusable.

Worst draft of the Tomlin era by far for me. Will be fun to see just how much bigger this train wreck can get tomorrow. Can't wait.

We have a superbowl offense. Not defense

Maybe I worded it poorly...but IMO you don't replace 6'4" with 5'11 ...No matter how long his arms are....The Steelers need to get better in the red zone...and the field stretcher does not normally offer that at 5'11" Even AB struggles to find space that close...they need the jump ball guy. IMO

Don't know anything about Okorafor but you don't like hearing how bad the tape is on your new 3rd rd guy from just about everywhere.

Bad tape means you're not a good football player. You don't mind this so much in a 5-7th rd guy. But in the 3rd?

This whole draft just feels off to me.

And if they do, it’s not gonna be the Defense!!!

They are running this draft like Ben is already gone...

Biggest weakness is defense and it is blatantly being neglected....

I think Colbert might be drinking his own koolaid. To ignore a glaring need is just arrogant. He needs to go once Ben goes. We used to have young LB’s ready waiting in the wings. Now, James Harrison, at the age of almost 40, was the best pass rusher last year on this team.

They gave up 45 to Jax, at home, in the loffs... and the only change to the front 7 is Jon Bostic.

I think we play Jax this year. They are gonna smack as around again with this soft defense.

I can’t profess to knowing anything about college football players so I sort of have to give the benefit of the doubt to the folks that get paid to do this and continue to put winning teams (more or less) on the field. But it seems like the Steelers go against conventional wisdom a LOT. Sometimes that may not be a bad thing if the element of surprise gives you an advantage. sometimes it just feels weird. Like if we’re playing a team with the 32nd ranked run defense and almost exclusively attack them through the air. Is the conversation that they’d be EXPECTING us to attack their weakness, so we’re going to surprise them by.... oh I dunno.... jumping on our own bayonets.... (while chuckling to ourselves on the sideline about how those poor bastards will never see THIS coming).

Or maybe they heard the old cliche wrong and thought it went the best defense is a good offense.... whatever. Welcome to Steeler Nation rookies!

My biggest head scratcher is all we ever hear is the Steelers go BPA...they don't reach or over react. Thats all good and well, and could very well explain the positions being picked....but not the players.

I just don't see how Edmunds was the highest ranked guy on your board at 28. Even if he was your highest rated S at that point I just don't see how you have him ranked higher than a lot of other guys left.

Like I said...I like Edmunds the player...not the value.

I like other WR's better than Washington, but its not like I don't like Washington

Rudolph is not the Ben replacement IMO...but I'm ok with giving him the chance to do so....but most likely he is nothing buy a seat warmer until the Steelers end up drafting in the top 10 again.

Okofaror...looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane...but if Munch can mold him you might have a player.

I still would grab the Rugby kid late...He reminds me of Big Al...and things worked out well for us with him.

That's the ego/stupidity of thinking you're smarter than everyone else and just "doin what we do".

Defense was addressed with Bostic and Burnette. Think Farrior and Clark.

That defense gave up I think it was 500 yards passing to Brady in the SB, they just made one play at the end getting a turnover.

That isn't good enough, they could still use a athletic ILB and a OLB for depth.

So you think fans who spend 20 minutes watching game clips on youtube and draft breakdown are more informed then a whole team of people that spend all year and countless hours evaluating these guys and putting a grade to them?

I know fans think they are the most brilliant football minds ever but reality is their knowledge doesnt fill a thimble compared to these guys. Not to mention they actually get to sit down and talk to these prospects.

So yeah, they are smarter. Doesnt mean they are always right but they are smarter and more informed then fans.

Farrior was the same situation as Bettis. A team gave up on a first round draft pick too early. That isnt the case for Bostic and Burnette. I have a hard time seeing them as anything, but stop gaps.

I had a chance to see Clark with the skins before we signed him, I saw how good he was. I just don’t think it will be the same deal this time around.

After the 2nd round there probably wasn't an ILB that would start ahead of Bostic and Williams so whoever we take he's going to be the 5th backup ILB. OLB is the same thing.

They filled needs in the 1st and 2nd, took a value pick in the 3rd with Rudolph, and I don't know what they were thinking with their other 3rd, he has size and length, I guess.
