My understanding is that you need to go to Binghamton, NY to claim it. So... just how strong is your desire for beer?

Nah, not too concerned. He does have a tendency to not wrap his arms, but couldn't you say that about the majority of Steelers DB's in the past 5 or 6 seasons? :lolol:

Seriously though, his ceiling is high. He's got all the natural talent you could hope for, and he can play in any scheme. I'm not banging on the table for him or anything, but late in the second round, he's a good pick IMO.

Good player, think King suits our need more but no problem with Jones.

Agree.... This endeavor is for the enjoyment of those fans who like to play GM..... I'm out because of work schedule and don't won't to ruin others experience..... I do when I can read up on prospects and watch film of those that intrigue me so I'm a little knowledgable but time restrained .

I do it cause it is fun and the people here are fun and I learn so much from them. I am glad people put the time in cause this is real cool and everyone's opinions are cool as well. I may agree or disagree but it is fun to learn about these prospects, feel free to throw your 2 cents out there.

Cajun, don't feel for a minute that you'd be ruining anyone else's fun by voting for the Steelers pick. This is all just for :poopy:'s and giggles anyway. Playing a GM for another team takes a bit of a commitment, but voting for the Steelers' pick is very much open to all. Don't be a stranger when the 3rd round picks roll around.

I'm sorry, maybe you misunderstood what I was trying to say.... I love doing this, it's fun and I learn a lot and usually I'd take Carolina as in the past but it's hard for me to keep up with my schedule and I'd be late or miss my selection time...... I'd rather someone else have them and enjoy..... I do plan on continuing the steelers selection when I can...!!

    Go Steelers!!

I wouldn't mind seeing Kareem Hunt's name here, also my list has Jourdan Lewis ranked in the top 50 I have not even read anything on him so my question to the people that have what is his deal? I think we need a CB right here and I need to read a little on Lewis and Douglas from West Virgina.

Jourdan Lewis has my vote for 3a.

3b? Considering there are no other viable options at running back, how about Gerald Everett from the University of South Alabama?

I hate to ignore the offense but a CB should be in play too. I think I'm deciding between

TE Gerald Everett - caused the most missed tackles of any TE this year
WR Carlos Henderson - raw but physical. defenders had 48 missed tackles on him last year!
CB Shaq Griffin - 4.3 speed is hard to pass up

I think we should go CB too, and offense with the comp.

Im leaning towards Griffin here and Everett next.

Griffin is solid, I took notice of him at the combine, real smooth, fluid movements and as you said, fast, ran a 4.38. Above the line on the vertical and broad jump, too, which indicates explosiveness and good closing speed which you can see on tape. And he has the height, which everyone loves, 6'

Actually just going to cast my vote for him now.

    Shaq Griffin, DB, Central Florida

I want to know who you all think is the best cornerback available, best wide receiver available, and the best player available, regardless of position. I am looking at Lewis, WR Amara Darboh, has KD cannon been drafted?

Cannon has not been drafted yet, all 3 are available.

Lewis would be the top CB but the off field issue pushes him down for me.

BPA for me would be S Marcus Maye, TE Everett, RB Perine, CB Elder and ILB Walker.

Not sure on the WRs tbh, I haven't scouted them enough

Corn Elder, CB, Miami. His tape sold me. Aggressive slot corner who has the ability to stick with quick receivers in man coverage from the slot (Edelman?). He also plays zone well. And... he doesn't beat up his girlfriends...
