EDIT: I apologize if I am pulling a Ben Coleman here, I've read the list a few times and believe Easley has not been taken yet. Could be wrong though... If so, move on and I'll pick in the morning! :shots:
I didn't see him on the list either. Nice find.
The Seattle Seahawks select Joe Halapio, G, Florida.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the clock (7:30 am fri)
No he wasn't picked. I kept seeing his name every time I went through my list but he doesn't fit the Texans scheme at all so I kept passing on him. Bout time someone else noticed him.
For those who sometimes wonder if a player has been taken...I have a little trick I used to use and see if they have. Go back to the 1st page where all the picks are posted...and press/hold CTRL and then F...it should pop up the Find window in your browser...then type in the players name (last, first, whatever) and it will take you through any matching info on that page (you just hit next or the arrow or whatever your browser has) to go to the next match...if you dont see it or any matches you're good to go.
Just double check and make sure the selections are up to date as sometimes the last couple may not be listed on the 1st page yet...but still...a quick/easy way to check.
Same here, the panthers double dipped last year on the DL and now our front 7 is solid, it was still hard to pass on him though.
exactly this with Chargers!
w/ the 33rd pick of the 5th round...the Steelers select:
Michael Schofield, OT, Michigan
NYG on the clock
Two picks in 2.5 days..... I guess it's dragging time, I wonder if we'll finish or how far it'll go.
On the clock is: Giants-Ravens-Packers-Texans, 4 teams and in a few hours it'll be 5 with the addition of the redskins.
I guess anybody can start picking for the giants/ravens & packers. Is that right?
New York Giants select: Devonta Freeman RB FSU.
With, oh, I don't know, one of the last picks in the 5th round, the Green Bay Packers select:
Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech
The Ravens still need to pick and the Texans are on the clock to start the 6th round.
The Baltimore Ravens select Devonta Freeman RB Florida State.
The Giants just took him 2 picks ago... but I'm sure he'd be happy to know how popular he's gotten all of a sudden
