No Problemo...I did this for my 2nd team also (TB).
Ok guys! Don't forget the clock starts at 12pm (NOON) Sunday (don't forget of the stupid time change tonight). This is also when the rosters will be locked in.
The pick clock times are in my first post. Also don't forget from 12am until 6am...those 6 hours will NOT count on the clock.
And remember post ALL draft pick selections in the thread below this one...do NOT post them here.
Other than that...have fun!
Any last minute takers for the #1 overall pick? P.M. me. Quick!
The first pick is in, we are underway folks!
The NY J-E-T-S are shopping pick #9 for any team looking to move up for the player that they covet, if still on the board. If there are no offers by the time our pick rolls around we are prepared to make our selection to keep things moving. So please send hypothetical trade offers as well. For example, "If player X is still on the board we offer..."
Browns also looking to move down!
The year of every team wanting to move down but will find it hard to do so, hahaha!
Brandon Weeden is yours for a 5th round pick, or Colt McCoy for a 4th.
Is there a way to subscribe to a thread so we know when picks are coming in without having to check the Board?
At the top of every thread, under thread tools.-
Choose subscribe to thread-
and from there you can choose how you want notifications etc.
One caveat- as of last time I checked, there were a couple email providers who were not receiving emails from the board for whatever reason (sbcglobal.net and att.net if I remember correctly). It may not be the case anymore, or there may even be a couple others. I'm not sure as I don't have a way to test it. If you use one of those, and have a different email that you use (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc), you may want to change your email address in your profile. If someone has an email delivery issue, shoot me a pm with the provider you use and I'll look into it.
breaking news: the Vikings just traded percy harvin to the seahawks for the seahawks 1st and 7th picks this yr., and a 4th next yr. http://hsrd.yahoo.com/_ylt=At0KtYBC...wuaHRtbA--/RS=^ADAzVow0tuJtfsWQpNuV5aDxU2dsLU-
and we got only a fifth for holmes ?
Its all about leverage. Steelers wanted to send a message by ridding themselves of Holmes quickly. Jets knew that and jumped.
Had we been patient and put on a front that we'd be content to keep or trade Santonio then we probably could've drummed up a competition between a couple of teams.
SSylvester, check your PMs
I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this, but...
The Cleveland Browns have traded QB Brandon Weeden to the Minnesota Vikings for their 5th round pick.
Are we using this thread to announce trades?
If so, Minnesota Vikings deal pick #148 to the Cleveland Browns in return for Brandon Weeden.
Yes this thread is for everything except for Steelers voting and pick announcing.
So we have a 1st trade to be reviewed....and since it's NB's trade he cannot review...so as long as me and numbah both OK it we're fine...if not...I'll need an alternate to step in (I was hoping Elvis could be the alternate but I'm waiting to hear back from him via PM).
I approve...I didnt think Weeden should have been taken where he was...maybe in the 3rd round...but thats about it. So getting a 5th for him is probably about all they'd get in real life. But thats just MY opinion!
numbah whats your vote on this?
So? This doesnt count in our "league"
Woot....our first approved trade with this new committee approach.
Plus, that is flat out nuts what Seattle gave up. Barely worth it even if he was guaranteed to stay healthy forever. Factor in that he might only play half the games...
Why can't we make sucker trades like this?
Browns are on the clock and still trying to move down. I'm willing to potentially give up a little bit in terms of value to move down. I'm going to try to field offers for a little bit and then make my choice if I can't/
Check PM for my reply SBD
Sorry, went to bed before I saw Steel_ELvis accepted this...
Cleveland Browns are trading the #6 pick to the Miami Dolphins for the #12(1st) and #77(3rd) pick.
Dolphins are on the clock pending approval.
