standing ovation and a tear from me! People who don't follow USC faithfully the way I do, just don't understand what kind of human being they'd be adding to their team if they drafted Lattimore. I cannot say enough for the character and attitude of this kid. I literally shed a tear watching him get carted off in October...just not fair, but if anyone can come back from it, it's him!

I hope to God we pull the trigger on him first, seeing him in a Bengals jersey would be so bittersweet...

This is our last pick until the 7th round and we are very happy with our selections up to this point. With Tavon Austin, we have a multi-dimensional playmaker with world class speed. He'll make the loss of Wes Welker much easier to swallow. John Simon is a bit undersized but his motor never quits. He's an all effort guy that will be a great addition to our defense. His height allows him to gain the leverage advantage over the OL in much the same way that James Harrison has done with much success for the Steelers. Tyrann Mathieu is a bit of a risk given his history, but after putting him through an extensive interview process we are convinced that those issues are behind him. He's a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball and has a knack for creating turnovers. Both he and Austin will give our special teams a boost as well. In summary, two explosive playmakers on each side of the ball and a high energy pass rusher who we feel will all contribute very early on. Our draft may be lacking in quantity, but we feel we've more than made up for it in quality. See you in the 7th round!
