With the 36th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select:

    Alex Okafor, DE, Texas

With the departures of Cliff Avril and Kyle Vanden Bosch, the Lions were in desperate need of a pass rusher, and we feel that Mr. Okafor will be able to step in and supply pressure from day one. Combined with CB Dee Milliner from round 1, the Lions now have a formidable defense that will less frequently let down its potent offense, and make a team that is capable of winning games in the NFC North.

The Cincinnati Bengals are on the clock.

The Cincinnati Bengals select, DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson.

Hopkins could be the best receiver in this draft when all is said and done. Green and Hopkins will give Andy Dalton two real receiving threats that complement each other as well as Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh once did in the Queen City.

The Cardinals are on the clock.

The Bills have many needs...but now that they have their QB...and already have 1 good WR on the team...they need someone to pair with S. Johnson. We wanted D. Hopkins...but he was just taken a few picks ago...so the Bills are going with who they see as the next best NFL ready WR prospect in the draft..

    Robert Woods, WR, USC

    Miami is up...

Ok just to get things done and over with...

    via PM:

    Dolphin select:

    Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State

    -----------------

And my other teams next pick...TB...

DE could be an option here...but with Clayborn...and Bowers hopefully ready to step up...I think we can wait a little longer for another DE. The part of the team that CANNOT wait any longer is CB. Yes we drafted Xavier in the 1st round...but that is NOT enough. MORE help is needed...so with that being said...

    The TB Bucs select:

    David Amerson, CB, NC State

He had an awesome 2011 season...2012...not as good...but we feel that he still has the talent to be a solid CB (and can fill in at S in a pinch if needed). There we a couple other solid options here, but after some research we felt best with Amerson!

    ---------------

    Carolina is up...

Wow so many good options for Carolina at this point, do we go DT again and have one of the scariest lines around? Should we go secondary as they seem to be running off the board this round? With Steve Smith another year older do we try and get his replacement? As a GM I have to stay true to my big board and since this guy is to talented to pass on the Panthers select.....

    Jesse Williams DT Alabama

San Diego is now on the clock

Hey, SCG. Hope I didn't screw it up too bad for you. I know Denver is looking for some help in the running game and thought Lacy may be a good fit.

Peyton Manning is pretty used to getting a RB in round 1, regardless of how good or bad he is, or who is already on the roster. I'd say it's pretty realistic.

I was torn between several WRs, but decided to take a risk on someone with the most upside - WR Justin Hunter, WR Tennessee.

Well cincy wanted a safety at this spot but I'm not going to reach to fill a need. So instead we will glad nab a falling prospect and fill out a pretty scary group of young LB's to go along with burfict...

the bengals select khasseem Greene, olb, rutgers
