Will Decastro play from day one? I mean he can't be any WORSE than what we have been playing with lately anyway.

I was a Hightower guy but that was under the assumption there was ZERO chance DeCastro made it to us. I didn't think there was any chance he made it past 15!!

Best OG in a long time and OG is our biggest need. What a night!!

    Somewhere Ben is smiling!

    Nice article.

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football ... 54371812/1

    How about this quote?:
•Wes Bunting, director of college scouting for National Football Post, says, "The best offensive line prospect I've evaluated since Maurkice Pouncey in 2010. … He's got the skill set to become one of the league's best guards early in his career." Pouncey was a rookie Pro Bowler with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

•Mike Mayock, NFL Network draft analyst, calls DeCastro a plug-and-play guard. "When you get him, you're going to plug him in Day 1 and he's going to be your starting guard," Mayock he says.

This is amazing, we went from shoddy OL to possibly the best up the middle combo in the NFL.

In a way yes...who knows though Cincy could have been happy with DeCastro, Glenn, Zeitler or a number of others at OG...so they got an extra pick to move down.

Poor Ratbirds. They're taking their ball and going home tonight. Didn't go quite as they planned.

Wish they would change from having the commissioner announce the picks to the team owner announcing it. Can't stand seeing Goodell up there all night.

DeCastro will start Day 1 - barring injury. That's a given. The only question is whether it will be on the right or left side. Maybe plug him in at his familiar right side spot for year 1 while he gets used to the NFL talent and speed, then move him to where we really need him on the left starting year 2, and let him hold that spot down for the next decade.

Another QB experiment for the Cleveland Clowns! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

They get a 28-year old minor league BASEBALL player and plan to start him DAY 1! He'll be wishing he was holding a BAT when the Steelers and Ravens defenses get ahold of him 4 times a year!!

It will be nice to see both him AND Richardson laying on the turf at the same time. :lolol:
