Quick question, if anyone knows short answer...
How does the new "rookie payscale" work?
I had heard that it was put into the new CBA, but never got details.
Is it like it sounds? Just x amount of dollars for pick #1, 2, 3, etc?
I did hear that they must sign like a 4 or 5 year contract, to pretty much eliminate the "restricted free agency" thing, after their initial 3 yr contract is up.
Just wondered if the money is now non-negotiable, just based on where they are picked, and if so, what the costs are?

DeCastro is possibly the safest pick in this draft, make a move before the Bengals pick again.

From Miss? Are you talking about Massie? No way...if it was the 2nd round maybe.

 

I wish they would for DeCastro...but it wont happen.

Also with Chicago, Cincy and Det coming up...they all could use OL...so we could see a small run on them...but one of the bunch (DeCastro, Glenn, Reiff, Martin) will probably be there.

 

Ok I'm gonna throw a little wrench in this link and just inject a little personal pet peeve of mine. I'm just an old fashioned guy and really would like to see these guys get haircuts and stop dressing like idiots. I hope we get someone that will carry themselves like professional businessmen and look like poster boys instead of guys that I wouldn't want to run in to in an alley. If you look at all the guys that are with them in the draft room they look like people you would see in 2pacs "posse". What happened to the good ole clean cut, all-american, athlete? Now that I've vented all I want to say is NO MATTER WHAT AT SOME POINT GET US AN O-LINEMAN!!

 

Well it seems we have a great chance at a OL now....I still think we pick a OL over Hightower....

 

We pick before the Bengals now!!!
