Offical Website gets updated!

    Holy updates Batman. It looks like the team got themselves website designer or at least hired the nieghbors kid to update it some. It still could use a more professional touch but i was shocked since I haven't been there in a while. Bad news is still no link to the old board or even links to a new one in the fan zone. Who knows though they might be ready to join the new century at the Steelers front office. :yahoo:

    This is just the Steelers Official Website that got updated the message board is still the same malfunction beast it was before

    I'm with you in believing that the old message board is abandoned and help will likely never come, but MAN you just bummed me out with that expression. I have other wishes, you know! :cry:

    Why do you guys even want the old message board back? You do realize that site was beyond awful at the best of times. I tried for 5 years to register and never could. Why would you want to go back to that, even if it is fixed? We have a great site right here with a great bunch of members. Even if the old site was fixed properly, I still wouldn't leave here. This site is great, there's no reason to leave.

    Just because one site is considered "official" doesn't mean it's better. I'm staying here no matter what happens.

    IMO, what makes a message board is the people that post on it. NOT the title or the URL.

    It may still say "official" on the top of the page at the old board, but I think it stopped being "official" the day it was de-linked from http://www.steelers.com

    No way the Steelers organization would ever agree to let any site be "official" unless they were somehow in control of it.
