I never said WR wasn't a need, I said I'm against drafting one early, Colbert has proven he can find a WR later in the draft.

You aren't very good at that either as your football takes are like hot garbage in a dumpster behind an LA Chinese restaurant in August while the trash man is on strike.

The more you whine like a little baby about it, the more I'm going to torch you. I appreciate you providing me a good laugh on a regular basis though. Laughter is good for the soul, especially when it is at your expense.

All I'm really getting at mainly....is we have seen , what...6 or 7 different backups play since Ben has been a Qb. None of our Wrs have looked that good when he is not playing ,on... the main. I'm sure someone can pick a game here or there, but in the main our Wrs have not looked great without him. Hell even when they leave, and go 2 another team most don't look very good either.
So are we really great at drafting Wrs, or is Ben great at working with most Wrs???? We will learn that ....maybe in a year or 2.

Sanders seems to be only guy who really excelled outside of Pittsburgh. Unless I'm missing someone else.

Limas Sweed, Sammie Coates, Markus Wheaton, Martavis Bryant anyone?

How about Ayers, Justin Brown, Dallas Baker, Tony Clemons?

Your statement doesn't hold water and seems to be based on a small number of guys who have shown flashes but ultimately failed to live up to their billing.

Why? Do you have history with people putting you in your place? I'm really not here to pick on people, but your target is so freaking large that I couldn't miss it if I tried. Maybe if you keep having problems with people, it isn't the people with the problem?

So do you want to discuss previous screen names or discuss football? I'm confused. Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.

That's about it. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but it won't compare 2 how many disappeared.

Martavis Bryant in the 4th round, the Steelers haven't drafted a WR in round 1 since 2006, and every year they have one of the better WR groups in the league.

Compare Colbert's record of drafting receivers to every other team in the league, he does better than anyone else.

No it's not, other teams are drafting receivers in the first round, Colbert finds them in the second and third rounds.

You know what's pathetic? Is you saying you don't come here for that, yet you keep following me around like a puppy dog. You can't seem to get enough of me rubbing your nose in sh!t. Do I need to go back and quote you again on what you just wrote? You get called out by so many people on here for flip flopping. Pick a lane bro. I can't tell if you are a hypocrite, schizophrenic, or just a glutton for punishment. Hell, maybe it's all three.

If you believe what you wrote, then why do you keep replying? Not very smart, are you.

Is that your opinion or do you have some data to prove that? What is your basis for the claim? Let's settle on some data points and do some research. How about pro bowls, TDs, catches, yards, years as a starter. Also, beyond stats, what do these guys do when they leave Pitt? With the exception of Manny Sanders, none of them do jack. So, that would point to the HOF QB that was throwing them the ball as a bigger reason they got the stats.

Without data or proof, you're just stating your opinion. Which is fine, we all do that. Now back it up.

Ben needs to be working more the the wideouts, but the practices don't last long when the patterns are 5 yard slants.
