Conner and Pouncey should be back. This huge. The Steelers seem to have no faith in Snell at all. Samuels getting as much PT as he did at the end of the game is very telling. Conner may not be a world burner but he is by far the best back we have. If the Steelers can get at least a little bit of a run game going, I think some of the downfield passing will open up a bit.

I am not sure if the defense will be healthy enough to stop Buffalo. But if the offense steps up maybe we can win in a barn burner.

Snell has justified their lack of faith in him, but Samuels is hardly an upgrade. He made one nice play yesterday, but I'm pretty tired of seeing plays designed to throw him the ball.

Hopefully the only two back we see on Sunday are Conner and McFarland. I am not sure what Samuels or Snell have to offer at this point.

Boswell sounds like he should be back as well. They can’t go into this Buffalo game with Wright as the kicker again if Tomlin has no confidence in him to even a kick a 45 yard FG with potentially the game on the line in the 4th quarter.

He is the only back that offer something different than Conner. (Speed)

well that's looking on the bright side! If he had kept running on that 4th down pass he might have run under the ball instead of leaving his feet and waving at it as it went over his head. He doesn't have the instincts needed to play at this point. He is fast but that speed has not translated into anything this year

Hopefully Boswell being back means we won't be throwing bombs to backup rookie running backs on 4th and 1. Im not sure how letting Wright kick a 46 yarder was a bigger risk than that. :lolol:

For sure, please no more Samuel, give the other back on the practice a chance. He can be no worse.

I hated that play call. That play had a very low chance of success. Should have just kicked it.

Yea I would have rather he kicked it and missed it then call that play to McFarland. I would have had no problem had they tried it and he missed it and I have a feeling had he been giving the chance to make that kick Wright probably would have.

For some teams RB's seem to be a dime a dozen, just not this team.

I think Samuels might be a better receiver than a running back, for what little that's worth. He played all over the place in college.
