Let me preface this post by saying one thing: I am not trying to apologize for the poor offensive showing. However, one thing became clear to me while watching the Ravens-Texans game. Good teams score points in all three phases of the game, especially when they need to. The Ravens' offense was struggling early in their game against the Texans, so who picked up the slack? The got a pick-6 and a punt return for a TD. Game-set-match. The Steelers, meanwhile, get nothing (well, except for a gimme safety) from special teams and defense. This has been going on for quite a while now.

Defensive scores have covered up a pretty bad offense for a long time. Problem is, the D isn't doing it anymore, and we now see just how bad the offense truly is.

The O line is bad but the D needs to get turnovers. I watched Cinn and Packers and both sides were knocking the ball lose. We just can't seem to do that. Also there is no close coverage with our defenders on the pass.
