I think you nailed it, QB's and RB's cannot be productive when OL gives them no help.

With green just letting DT run passed him. results in the rest of the line looking like a failure. I am not trying to place all the blame on him, however moves like that start making the rest of the line try to shift to cover for his mistakes, which results in other mistakes being throughout the entire line.

Why do we not move Mason Cole to guard? he played that in rotation with the vikings. and he even had a good PFF grade, which was unusable due to he was a back up that rotated.

Also with James Daniel I am not worried on. due to it will take time to learn your new team. if this continues after week 8, then I will be worried. but the time for a new OL player to click takes almost half the season.

BS, if you can play you can play, these guys are professionals and should train and prepare seamlessly except for terminology.

we ignored the OLINE for too many years. the chickens have come home to roost. Then we hire shoe-clerk coordinators, and frankly - to be CHEAP. this is a major reason why Ben failed last year. We cannot and WON'T be able to run. OLINE has sucked since Munchak left....

Hey MikeyT - remember this old football adage, will ya? RUN THE BALL and STOP THE RUN. .500 if we are lucky this year....

We have had very little high draft pick investment on Offensive Line. last 5 years. Want to know what Decastro, Pouncey were good. Here's a hint (1st round picks)

    Dan Moore Jr-4th round pick
Kevin Dotson- 4th round pick, might be decent but can't stay healthy.
Mason Cole- Journeyman center- This isn't Jeff Hartings we are talking about with this guy Back Up JC Hassunauer- OK back up, but you don't want him starting
Kenderick Green- Undersized, Couldn't play center, now he can't even get hands on a guy at guard, Kenny Pickett could of died seriously
    3rd round pick
James Daniels- Probably the most pedigree, but looked like we got Fleeced signing this guy, he was a turnstile, and holds and gets penalties.
Chuks- he's been up and down but looked the best the past game, but given how bad every one else was, not saying much.

It better improve, or our offense is going to stink. I don't care is we have talent at all the skilled positions if you can't block, you have no offense. PERIOD!!

Offensive Line isn't a sexy pick in the draft, but its pretty hard to find a diamond with later round picks on the offensive line at the NFL level.

The ones that are the best league wide, most were all 1st round picks.

It's encouraging to see in interviews the Olineman admitting to technique mistakes that can be corrected.

Source: The #Steelers have a strong interest in available #Patriots OL Isaiah Wynn, the former first-round pick would likely move inside for Pittsburgh.

He's on his 5th year deal @ over $10M. He's an upgrade at LG but I wouldn't give up too much.

They better screw their heads on, they are going to get someone hurt. The OL coach better be coaching these guys up, maybe Cam, TJ can let them know how important they are to team goals?

At this point a deal could be worked out. Kendrick Green might just be a cut and reality should be. He just isn't strong enough to play against NFL caliber D Lineman. And Dotson has not lit it up being off injured. Leglue is a nice back up but you can't go through a whole season with him starting.

Then you have to find a LT. Dan Moore I had hopes would improve but as we have seen that's not the case. His performance against the Jags was embarrassing! There was one play (when Trubisky was in) that he was spooning a D Lineman and didn't get called for holding. Its a mess.

Yeah, I'm as concerned as everyone else. I like Wynn but I'm not sure how good he really is, he's been hurt, he's expensive, and he'll need a new contract after this season. All of that is to be considered... plus we'd have to give up draft capital to get him. I don't want to lose a high-ish pick, especially to that scumbag franchise. Tretter and Flowers are still out there (I believe), with whatever shortcomings they have.
