O.K. ... You`re Mike Tomlin...

The other teams are under the same rules. Tomlin can't coach and never will. Second pre=season game and here we go already.

 

Well, one thing I did read today, was that Tomlin is gonna have ref`s at practices this week, to help them understand what they are getting flagged on.
Not that they shouldn`t already know by now, but whatever, at least he is trying to do SOMETHING to address the problem.
I had heard of that before, but didn`t know it was a coach`s option to contact the league, and request refs to come to practice.
I thought they just showed up at camps occasionally, by the league`s choosing.
Can they do that during the regular season?
They only have 2 practices this week, then 2 the following week, to get their act together!!!
Also, I am kinda tired of hearing the "it`s only preseason" thing.
I get that, and I know we were focused on the running game, or we probably/hopefully wouldn`t have called a draw on 3d and 10(although I have seen it done effectively, when you catch the defense off guard, and EXECUTE the play)...
However, I have been watching other pre-season football games and have not seen ANY other team, just lacking on the fundamentals(mostly penalties), like we are.
It is disconcerting, to say the least.
Also, those other teams, playing "vanilla" football, seem to be executing at a much higher level than us.
It doesn`t bode well, to see such a repeat of last years` problems, right off the bat this "season"...
