"nStompaKong Suh is a dirty *itch. Suhpid is as Suhpid does." :p

A Lions fan's reaction. Sums it up pretty well, IMHO.

He is a piece of trash. I think he'll get a $50K fine and 2-3 game suspension.

While I don't agree with how he handled himself it could have happen to any defensive player. He was basically tackled by the offensive linemen(no flag) rolled up in an awkward position that could have generated a season ending injury, then while still engaged with that idiot, and trying to untangle himself another Packers comes in and tries to bend him like a pretzel well away from the play. So with this a double s clown clinging to his foot like he his stopping Barry Sanders from crossing the goal line Suh's temper got the better of him and he stomped down on the guy. No where near as bad as the Hayensworth head stomp and no where near as hard as he could have done. Do I condone it it? nope but i can certainly under it after seeing how Harrison gets worked over with no concern for his health each an every game.

You have to couple that with the slamming the guy's helmet into the turf while laying on the ground. Straight idiot move at that time in the game when they were basically holding them in check. You have to channel that back into the next play and series. Take a smart shot at the guy. All cameras are on you after talking with the "commish".

I'm a big fan of Suh and I used to think he got a bad rap because he was so mean, kinda like Harrison. That crap was dirty and uncalled for. As a fan of the guy I'm disappointed. I deffinately see a suspension coming. BTW, lUgged for a good minute when I read the title of this topic.

Ok, i watched it in real time yesterday amid the thanksgiving day preparations and it looked like it played out differently. I retract my analysis after watching the replay but will say I like the intensity right up until the kick.

I'd like to thank Suh for taking the new bad boy image of the league crown. Now maybe Harrison will be left alone :clapping:

I don't like any comparisons to Harrison. Harrison has never been a dirty player, yet he's always had that reputation. Suh on the other hand IS a dirty player, and yet he sparks a debate about "dirty vs. playing hard" and has plenty of supporters. The closest thing to support Harrison ever got was, "Yeah, he's dirty, but he's old school and that's how it used to be in the 70s, blah blah..." With Suh, there's the helmet ripping, head twisting, all of it late... Maybe that stuff would have been okay in the 50s, but Harrison has always abided by the current rules, even on plays for which he is fined! If he breaks any rules at all, it's rules that were put in within the last year or so. And now this from Suh, which was really a two-fer counting the head grinding into the ground, which everyone has already apparently let go.

One is mean and tough and clean, and the other is mean and tough and filthy. To me that is night and day. I hate the comparisons.
