Where do we go ? What do we do as fans ? There is still a lot of football games left. Do we keep the faith ? Should we abandon the season. I guess until we see and asterix next to are name in the standings that says "eliminated from playoff contention" we can only watch and hope we get this thing turned around before its too late. I've been a steelers fans since the 70s and this is the lowest I felt since the Bubby Brister era.

I actually considered texting my friend, who is a lifelong Brown's fan, and ask him how to handle this. Last night's game left me with a tiny ray of hope- but Im losing faith quickly.

    Three games into the season!
Are we going to win the Superbowl? Probably not, but you never know what can happen.
Hang in there people. They have given us plenty to cheer about over the years least we can do is support them now.

I heard the same thing since the preseason, after game 2 when the problems were obvious. I was worried but had hope after the 3rd preseason game and I began thinking that it is only preseason, it will get better then we went 0-4 and still I had hope, and now after losing 3 straight with the same problems I'm left wondering if it is possible to even end up 4-12. Seriously, I see this team as that bad, there is zero depth, and on offense it creates a problem as we have an OC that can't adjust when injuries take out key players. Haley looked good last year until Ben got hurt and without Heath Miller it has been a disaster, he uses the same scheme when it is obvious the back ups can't do the job. I never thought I would say this either but it looks as if every time they try to fix the oline they end up making it worse, DeCastro is finally beginning to look like maybe he can play a little, Foster should not be in the NFL, Gilbert is a wasted pick, I got beat up saying that last year but he isn't good, and Adams isn't much better, I do like Velasco, if they could get at least one good tackle it would fix the offense a great deal. The defense is suffering from Ziggyitis, it is a disease that keeps the defensive line from crossing the line of scrimmage, it also makes them very weak, it is a slow debilitating disease that is contagious and affects anyone who is unlucky enough to get too close. Heyward isn't developing either, just poor picks with little to no depth at key positions is finally taking its toll.

I'll still be watching until week 17, but this team is not a contender whatsoever. What will we do? Nothing. That's my opinion. We'll do nothing to right the ship. We'll continue down this same path. My biggest fear is the Rooney's are so delusional that they do nothing in the off-season either and we're in the same boat next year

I will watch until week 17 but I won't be as emotionally invested in each game. Because I have lowered my expectations. In talking with a friend of mine last night there is not a game on the schedule in which you can say that is a game they will win. I think by the end of this year we will end up having a whole new coaching staff. Tomlin and staff fired and LeBeau retires. That is my hope if they continue to look this pathetic. Right now I expect 3-13 to be our final record.

Yup...any true fan would. No matter how crappy the games might be...you still watch and support the team through it all. A lot of people may not be used to a POTENTIAL loosing season since they've only been below 8-8 like 2-3 times since Cowher was hired in i think 92...so its new territory for some. But its all part of the journey of being a fan!

This is how I feel to. I will watch all season as well. I just said to my friend that I dont care about the record as much as I care about the fact that the issues wont be addressed anytime soon.

I don't think the season is over, but in the short term, will be focusing on MLB playoffs and my Atlanta Braves.

Sorry Pirate fans, though I'll root for them knowing many of our Steelers buddies pull for them...

    Agreed..

I liked how they played Heath last night smart!! left him ease into the fold. Same with Bell when the Doc gives him the green need to play him smart!! and any other injured player. I don't see a championship this year and that's ok I now accept that so lets build on what we have this year and come out hot the next. People are expecting too much too soon this year including myself I been all over this offense. I believe our group is a diamond in the rough (except for a few that will not be here next year). Lets get through the growing pains!

Well, I've been very critical of the oline and DeCastro hasn't shown me he's worth the 17th pick in the draft. I knew Gilbert and Adams were worthless. I don't know who's evaluating our draft picks but he needs to be fired. The entire scouting department needs to be replaced.

Personally...I'd be happy just to see Tomlin blow up. Maybe let Haley do it for you, but someone must show the offense publically that this is not good enough.

I wore my Steelers shirt and hat to work today and took a lot of crap for it. When one of the morons asked why I had "that stuff" on, I explained, that this is my team win or lose. I don't just wear it when they win. Otherwise, that would make me a titans fan (I'm in TN). Pissed them off but they couldn't argue.

I am with them to the end even if they don't win a game. Will I like it? Nope, but I am a Steelers fan no matter what.

I'd just as soon we go 4-12 as 8-8 to get a better draft pick. 8-8 is just good enough to cause you to lose one of the true blue chip draft prospects.

These types of seasons stink but since I have been watching the Steelers since 1975 I have seen quite a few of these over the years. Dan Rooney is 81 years old now so it will be interesting to see if Art II has the same patience that Dan had over the years.

I will always support my team, and try to watch the games (finishing them when they look like they have is a different story), but this is tough to watch. We've had bad seasons before, but this time I have to admit that I'm quickly losing interest in even watching. I get tired of tuning in and being disappointed by watching what feels like the same sad story week and and week out. As I said to the old man Sunday (both of our teams are 0-3), thank goodness for Nascar to give me another sport to watch in the meantime (ok, "sport"), and bring on hockey please!

Blow it up and do it early, if Wilson is our next OC get him in there asap and lets start implementing his system this year and have a full offseason of work. Let DL know his retirement party is on such and such date tell Bulter to get his stuff together and Fire Tomlin I really dont think he could coach a WPIAL JV team to a win on a Saturday morning let alone a Sunday afternoon in the NFL. He really lost me when he was caught laughing and smiling after we just got stuffed on a 3rd-1 in the Cincy game. He should have been over ripping the oline and RBs a new one and hes laughing and joking on the sideline down 10 in a divison game after being embarrased week 1. But I guess he figures Ill just come up with some sweet sayings at the presser and tell everyone its not good enough, we know that, were going to get this fixed. I am tired of him and just think we need alot of change including Colbert. It might take another yr or 2 but they can turn it around quick with the right people in charge.
