Will the Cheifs or Jets fall from the wildcard? At the pace we're going, we aren't getting that 6th lost this season. Wish I could have watched the game, proud of the black and yellow

Steelers hold the 6th right now with the victory vs Denver. I didn't know it till Sims and Nantz said it after the game.

Jets don't even deserve to be in the discussion

The Ravens and Browns suck, if the Steelers don't win both of those games by a 21 point margin each, something is terribly wrong.

    Jets will lose next week.

Disagree, they didn't make their schedule. Not to mention, Todd Bowles is doing a heck of a job. Just goes to show how bad Rex Ryan was / is.

Yeah jets have a tough defense. Brandon Marshall is killing it. They are much improved. But they did almost lose to Dallas. It was close.

Chiefs impress me. Starting 1-5 and then winning 8 straight. Andy Reid should get coach of the year consideration. Plus they lost Charles for the year. They have a good defense as well.

You did yourself a favor by not watching the first half..a high school team could've torn up the secondary ..it was brutal!!!

Sounds bad to say but the Jets got a break when Geno was punched.

Sorry to sound like a prick, but it's Black and Gold, not Black and Yellow.

He may have been referring to the Wiz Khalifa tune.

That's fine but that song does not refer to the Steelers to me since the colors are wrong. Black and GOLD. Drives me crazy when they play that for the Steelers.

Agreed, but the Ravens and Browns always play us tough. I by no means consider either of those two games "give me's."

We need to keep up the momentum and go into both games like we're the boss!

I sometimes wonder if the knowledge that they can pull it out of the bag (as they have done throughout the Ben era) affects their focus sometimes - particularly against the weaker teams.

As bad as both the crows and clowns are they would love nothing more then trying to see the Steelers out of the playoffs. Like Lady Steel said, let's show them who's boss and crush both of them.

Most likely would have if we had a healthy Big Ben playing.

Good point, and I'd like to see the numbers on that theory.

Not sure they would have beaten KC even with Ben - if he had played, that would have been his first game back, which we all know by now is usually a rusty bomb. You know, like the one he played a week later against Cincy. (hint: I'm saying he should have played against KC - the Cincy game was more important, IMO).

My key phrase was "healthy big ben". Not "rusty big ben". A rusty big ben wouldn't have been good either. He struggled the following week against the Bengals.

Agreed. Which is why I think they should have played him vs. KC. He seemed healthy and mentally said he was ready to go. With the Cincy game looming the following week, I think it would have been more important to get that bomb out of the way and have him tuned for the Cincy game instead.

Oh well. What's done is done and now we just have to finish business.
