Yeah, I was about to ask Glenn if it's ok to talk about the Patriots now?

Can Pats week start on Monday????? Yeah, I know it's already Monday on the East Coast, but would like to savor this division-clinching win for a few hours. Last week the playoffs, this week the division, next week.....the first round bye????

Tonight's game was a must win so we can lose next week and still get a bye. Beat them and could have 2 weeks off.

I just hope they come with a gameplan and attitude to win. You know they are going to double AB all game. Patriots don't even have a top defense. They just always out scheme us. Ravens technically have a better defense so why can't we hang 40-50 on them and out shoot them?

Agree - mentioned this in another thread - plus it will be 3 road games in a row for the Patsies with a long round trip to Miami for the 3rd. You're right Hank, not much but something. I'll take it. Plus we get to stay at home for the second week in a row which is nice.

Is it too much to want the Dolphins to play a physical game against them, maybe even try to win?

With Ben, Bell, and Brown playing like they are, and with the Pat's D not being as good as it has been in the past, the offense has a chance. But Steelers' defense really needs to step it up, and put Brady on the ground and get in his face as much as possible.

Dolphins will fold like a cheap tent like they always do. Patriots will have the game won by halftime.

Lots of work for them this week in practice. I wonder if we will see Haden this weekend.

Why is everyone talking about the patriots game? All season everyone was talking about some game that wasn't next on the schedule. In the interest of continuity shouldn't this thread be hijacked into a discussion of the Texans?

At this point both Defenses are a wash. It's going to be toe to toe, Ben vs Brady. Time for Ben to get the monkey off his back and drive us forward to the Super Bowl. As horrible as the Defense was we can only hope they have a couple more stops in them as they showed last night.

Patriots defense always plays well vs. Steelers. Belichick will have them prepared and ready. This game is gonna get ugly quick, IMO.

I'm just praying that somehow, someway, the defense gets it together.

keep an eye on Suh, who is famous for taking cheap shots at the Patriots (along with everyone else). One of my Patriots fans friends has a near pathological fear of him doing something to Brady.

The Ravens loss gives Miami a shot at the playoffs, so hopefully they don't quit yet.

This is exactly how I see it.. porous defenses on both sides. Even though the defense has changed after 1 game since Shaziers absence they have been unreliable all year for the big runs and big plays which happen every game.. Last night against the Ravens it was ridiculous watching how they could run at will. Haden back will improve the pass defense for sure and we need him against Brady.. But will he be back. Nobody seems to know at this point.
