    I took some notes while watching the post selection press conference with Defensive Line Coach Mitchell. I posted this in the running draft thread, but I thought it may get lost in there and could use a topic of its own.

    Mitch says he's not worried about Ta'amu's weight. With the nutrition plan in place and daily work, his weight won't be a problem.

    He did the double team well in college, and that's what we want most, especially when we bring the safety in the box.

    Coach Mitch was happy we got him when we got him.

    Gonna start him off at nose and see how he does and take it from there.

    The back up nose has to be able to know how to play end.

    Can't answer if Casey will be ready to play.

    Gonna start from scratch when Ta'amu gets here.

    College is behind him, what's here is in front of him.

    He's a NT that we feel he can get penetration everytime.

    We keep it simple, you eat up two, someone else will make the play.

    Hold your opinion about McClendon until the season is over.

    Garrett Giemont will determine where he needs to play at.

    Then, coach Mitch will get him and determine where he'll go from there.

    They'll take their time and determine where he'll play.

    30 credits from graduating.

    <End of presser>

    He was putting a lot of emphasis on his words when talking about McClendon.
