Did they make the playoffs cause seems thats what everyone here seems to use to judge obj.

I said the team should have let him go be a free agent if they didn't want to pay him instead of franchise tagging him.

Hollywood is his cousin. Seems to be doing fine with the ravens and getting along with lamar.

So now stats is making the team better but all you talk about with obj is wins which his psoion has far less impact on than a qb. You cant have it both ways.

Steel curtain was the primary reason they won those sbs in the 70s. Hines and randle el were not the primary reason the Steelers won in 2004. No wr has ever been the reason a team won it all due to the nature of the position. When I said "wrs dont win rings" I was talking about how they are not the primary reason a team wins like a qb or defense.

Thats what I was talking about lol. Why would I be saying wrs period dont win rings when you need wrs to even play the game. That makes no sense

Hines Ward and Randle El won it all during the 2005 season. 2004 was Ben's rookie season and Steelers were owned by Patriots (imagine that) in AFC Championship.

1,000 yards and 4 TD’s is not balling. Your argument all along is that QB play doesn’t matter. Clearly it does and you inadvertently admitted that when you cited Baker as a bust for why OBJ isn’t playing better.

I saw an interesting stat that Mayfield’s QB rating dropped 20 points after OBJ got there.

Let’s see how some someone tries to twist this into something positive.

Now he’s had two lousy games. That’s not defining a career. Just defining his lack of worth now.

People are not using that to judge OBJ. You are using that as a baseline to strengthen your argument. OBJ is not the reason why the Browns have not the playoffs. For that matter, OBJ is not even in the equation.

The reason OBJ is not even involved anymore is that he is irrelevant due to his inconsistency. That Cincy game is not even close to being enough to justify that OBJ is still a Top 10 Receiver and nevermind Top 5. That said, what it did do was, at the very least, make OBJ relevant for the time being.

05 I meant. They were on the team but not the reason they won.

That is balling. 1000 yards is considered a good season for a wr. Amd thats why obj is not playing at his best. Hes till balling. Great wrs ball regardless of who they got at qb but they paly even better with better qb play. Prime example fitzgerald only made all pro teams when he had kurt warner. But he still balled with trash qbs he just palyed better when he had better qb play. He didnt have 500 yards and look like a complete bum like someone else I know.

Against a sub par Bengals defense?! I suppose so. That said, if that is his new benchmark, then that is not something to be proud of.

mom thinking the Texans too. They clearly miss a #1 receiving threat.
