I wonder how many times Bryant has called the Steelers wanting to return. He did not know how good he had it with "Tolerant" Tomlin. Check out a mic'ed up Chuckie. The first guy he is verbally beating is Marcell Ateman, WR, a Bryant clone. I love his "I like this ref. Always liked this ref."

This was really old school. If Chuckie was smart, he's make sure he applied ACTION to those not giving full effort and attention (cutting players), instead of just lip service, ala Jimmy Johnson and Tuna.

Bryant went to military school as a teen, we'll see how Bryant does this year, I wldnt be surprised if he makes a couple of highlight films, he was ready to go and we got Washington, so no hard feelings, Washington over Bryant now and long term, yes

A good coach figures out how to motivate each player, what that player needs to hear and if he needs a kick in the pants.

If these players coming out of college are too soft, they have no business playing football.

If, by goat you mean a smelly farm animal, I agree. If you think he's the greatest; Noll and Walsh didn't cheat to combine for 7 SB trophies!

Yeah, it does not work except for the team who dominates the win-loss percentage and Super Bowls. Yeah, just exclude them. Tough love works if your are fair with punishment and reward. People respond to the truth if you are willing to help succeed within guidelines.

Trade an over priced offensive diva for an over priced defensive diva. Sure, why not.

We had friends who had a troublesome son. They sent him to military school. Did not work. Personality change is hard to have happen. Kid was talented and squander his talent. His younger brother, the good boy, is a success in Hollywood. Bryant probably went to military school for the same reason. He is doing great job a squandering his talent

Sadly enough however the rules are changing to covet these softened kids that are learning to live in a softened society... And if football continues this course then it has no business being a sport as it were.

I keep hoping the pendulum swings back the other way for sure but we're in the mix of damn near 40 years worth of slowly killing off the defensive side of the ball... It ain't my grand daddy or daddy's NFL and its quickly losing (a lot of it already gone) what was my NFL at a rapid clip and I'm 42.

It's already a slow death as the youth sports numbers are in decline. They keep it up and it will run off the last of us willing to remember how it was and what it could be again. I'm all for player safety but it can't be for one side of the ball as this new rule clearly has demonstrated in the pre season and if they did decide to protect the other side as well, then I'd presume nobody can hit anything or each other at that juncture.

nor do I think the ever evolving of idiot players will keep a fan base engaged... Too much constant drama without stiff fisted or equal punishment. Just my opinion but we all see the shift in effect... Other than that, I ain't been ran off yet GO STEELERS!

Sadly, our daddys football is never coming back. The game was much better then! Not so good for the players though.

I guess it depends on how old he is. For some reason I thought he posted that he was like 19 or 20.
