    Why not? We've had MLB and NBA examples and the NFL referees are essentially part time employees and paid as such. Add to that, Goodells focus on money as the main driver how he runs this league, the probability is high.

    Good point, and I acknowledge that the possibility does exist, however, I don't think it is rigged specifically against the Steelers.

    Specific, "throw the game" order type rigging? Absolutely possible and might happen sometimes. I'm sure it has. People who think everything that goes against them is rigged are paranoid, yes, but people that think there's no rigging whatsoever are naïve. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

    What is absolutely true is the "light" rigging that goes on sometimes. The, "throw the flag if 92 or 25 make a hit" type of rigging. Trying to make sure we lose the game? No. But turning the system against us in a way that hurts our chances? Yes. A few years ago it was so obvious that they had pre-game pow-wows about us that I can't believe they kept it going as long as they did.
