to say this has been an odd year to this point is spot on. We look like " world beaters" some weeks, and then we find ourselves against the Eagles, and of course the Phins today. It's hard to explain, but with all going on there is one constant so far. No QB pressure? I said it several times over the past few weeks, several posts, several conversations, and so have many of you. Media asks, and they pen articles on the topic, yet here we are with barely a sack or two? It's mind boggling to think there is no one capable of finding the QB? I understand we have more injuries than your local ER, but how does this happen? Surely Butler won't sleep well this week knowing Brady will surgically carve his initials into this D next Sunday if somebody doesn't get to him. Just don't get it

I'll tell what's no pressure. Being a fan.

We have a golden opportunity to go hippie vibe into each week.

    "Whatever happens, happens maaaan."

Having such a bi-polar team used to cause me so much stress. But now that The Steelers unpredictability and luck are becoming.. predictable. I am in a Zen-like state.

No pressure. Can't tackle. Can't cover. Constantly playing on our heels.

Our best hope is Brady is so over-confident about rubbing his junk all over us, that he parties all night, oversleeps and misses the game.

I think we saw yesterday, how much Cam Heyward means to the defense. It sure was ugly without him.

Yes he does mean a lot ,but he was out there during the eagles disaster. What I can't figure out is that they were running it down their throats but their wasn't ANY adjustment. None. Couldn't stop them. The only one who came to play was Chickillo. No answer, no adjustment. This Defense cannot hold their own when the chips are down. Seems when the Offense struggles you can't rely on this unit to help. And against a bottom feeder! The reincarnation of Larry Csonka. We better hope this unit can turn the corner because Brady and Blount are probably licking their chops this morning. Piss poor!

The Pats will put up at least 30 in the first half ,I hope they call off the dogs or they may drop 60 on us...

This team is currently missing Heyward, Shazier, and Dupree.
Not many defenses will do well with three of its best players out.
(Or at least 2.5, depending on how much Dupree would have developed this year.)

It is not shocking that the defense isn't deep enough (yet) to play well, unless the group is healthy.
I'd be more concerned about the offense averaging 9 points in the two (away) losses.
The offense needs to carry the defense.

We are inconsistent on both sides of the ball. When both have off days these are the result

This is anything but an "odd" year. This is what we've been doing for 6 years now. Where have you been? We have turned losing to bad teams into an art form. We lose to teams with less talent with regularity. It's kept us from winning playoff games for 5 years - going on 6.

I'm curious at what point do we point the finger at the HC? I've always judged a coaches success by consistency, playoff wins , and the ability to win games with less talent than the opponent. Call me Captain obvious but It's a huge red flag when you have more talent than your opponent and you still get your butts kicked. I don't want to hear injury excuses either. We've had nearly all of our playmakers on the field against the Eagles and Dolphins. If we have to be at 100% to win games then good luck. No team is at 100%. The cheatriots were with out their QB for 4 games and boast the 2nd best record in the NFL.

Likely by the end of the month..

Better question. Can Derek Barnett fall next year... please? Heck I will take Charles Harris at this point; a featherweight for a 3-4 OLB.

14 total lossess against opponents who are under .500 has no pressure on myself personally.

After hearing about how Tomlin dismissed it throughout the years but going a little more in depth of the "trap game" crisis in addition to his players yesterday means this enitre team has a high level of choice supportive bias than feeling under pressure to play well againot inferior competition.

Furthermore, this also tells me that some of the fans have a confirmation bias based on these types of games.
