No packer discussion in the news?

They are still talking bout Tebow and the Steelers, yet nothing bout Packers and there 15-1 season. Nothing bout first time to go 15-1 and then go 1 and done. Just more proof that they hate the Steelers and wish for them to lose.

Am I going to lose any sleep over it....NOPE. GO STEELERS!!!

 

Didn't that happen to the Vikings recently? I didn't listen to any sports talk here in San Diego so I don't know if the Pack was mentioned or not.

 

Nothing on yahoo, nothing on espn, nothing on the radio. I could ve missed it but there was NO way to miss tebow and the steelers for the last week. Heck they were even re-showing the game on CBS on Friday. :roll:

 

They lost, why should they be in the news?

 

Ive' heard a ton of talk about GB over the last two days and next to no talk about the Steelers. I listen to the NFL on Sirius and in the past two days haven't heard the Steelers mentioned once.

 

That's because by all accounts that game was a huge upset. Think about it. Almost Nobody gave Denver a chance to win that game but they did so of course it was the bigger story. Had nothing to do with not wanting the Steelers to win.

 

Rodgers doesn't want to talk about it.

 

And everybody thought the Giants were going to not only win but destroy Green Bay? They love to see the Steelers lose.

 

Maybe not destroy the pack but numerous analysts picked the giants to win the game so the difference in the score didn't matter as much. It still wasn't anywhere near the story of the Steelers getting knocked out by Tebow and the broncs especially after Denver lost their last 3 games going in to that playoff game. Sorry to disappoint but no NFL conspiracy here

 

The networks give the people what they want so there's still apparently quite a bit of Tebow interest out there.

 

Minny went 15-1 in 1998, but they at least made it to the Conference Championship Game. Likewise, we made it to the AFCCG when we went 15-1 in 2004, and the Patriots, of course, made it to the Super Bowl in 2007. The Packers were the first 15-1 team to get bounced before winning a single playoff game.

Two other teams have won 15+ games: 1984 49ers and 1985 Bears. They both won it all, which means that teams that have won 15+ games are 2-4 when it comes to winning it all.

 

Do they give us what we want or determine for us what is wanted?

 

The Tebow stuff is 100% out of control on First Take. I can't even watch that show anymore.
