The Steelers play at home against the non- Tom Brady Patriots this Sunday. The last time the Steelers played the Patriots, it was in 2019. The Patriots kicked their ass 33-3 in that game. However, Mr. Steeler Killer (Tom Brady) is no longer there. How confident are y'all in the Steelers beating the Patriots this season?

    This.

Bill Belichick is not a coach to be underestimated. Yes, Tom Brady was a part of the Patriots having six Super Bowls in a generation... but so was Bill Belichick. People tend to forget that the Patriots won their first three Super Bowls with their defense and not just Tom Brady. Tom Brady did enough to win those games but it was all not solely him.

Now, does this current Patriots defense have Championship Caliber ability to them?! I would say no. That said, let it be known that Miami's stomping of the Patriots is not normal for even with Tom Brady during his final years at New England, Miami is New England's nightmare to visit.

I do believe this game is winnable.. but I am with @bigbenhotness on the odds; a tossup.

Home field has to be positive
No turn overs in game 1 positive
Very good special teams week 1 positive
QB led a drive for a game winning FG positive

    Negative Mike Tomlin vs Belichick
    Negative TJ’s injury out
    Offensive line is trash negative

I’d say 50/50 or 60/40 Steelers winning is right

Steelers are underdogs if that goes for any thing

I like the chances better since Tom is gone.

I think the Steelers win. I will say I am 90% confident. I'm not sure why. I just feel like we win this game at home by 10 or more.

This game is very winnable but it’s not a gimmie game by any stretch. Belichick will be desperate in this game to win to avoid an 0-2 start and his teams usually bounce back after losses. So the Steelers better be ready to play on Sunday and can’t have any coaching blunders with the clock or anything like that. I still say Steelers will win something like 24-14.

Mack Jones is questionable after suffering a back injury against the Dolphins. The Steelers could be facing Brian Hoyer with rookie Bailey Zappe as his backup. This should be a low scoring defensive battle but I like Boz to pull it out again.

Oh God no, not the backup QB! That's the kiss of death. I heard Patriots might sign Mike Glennon to a one week contract.

edit: apparently Mike Glennon is already on the Giants. Did they sign him just because he looks like one?

I know it is more advantages to win against your division opponents should Playoff situations arise but if I was told the Steelers can only win one of their first two games, I'd have wanted the Patriots. Took me a long time to stop hating the Atlanta Braves in the 90's and Brady or not it's going to take a long time for me to stop hating the Patriots. Especially with that Head Coach.

You can't bring an A game with a D rated offense.

I'm less confident in a win here than yesterday against the Bengals. Belicheat rarely loses back to back games.

Living in Bengals land I could have made about a grand with all the Bungle fans wanting to bet me but I quit betting on football decades ago. I told all my Bengals friends that the Steelers would win yesterday and they all said I was crazy that the Bungles would slap us around all game. Today all I heard was crying about the officiating. LMAO.

Yea. It's laughable. Officiating was horrible all around but the Steelers were getting more of the bad calls.

Yeah really. The Steelers got royally screwed inside and out for the entire game by the refs. The fact that they are complaining about the refs show how little the Bungle fans know about football.
