It is as the title implies. Pittsburgh wins out, the 3rd seed is as good as ours.

One game at a time. Remember guys, we just reached the base of the mountain; nevermind cannot see the summit let alone near the precipice.

Perspective must in put in place for us to have a shot. Given the results of the Ravens game, winning against Cincinnati will make the lead all the much sweeter.

    Thoughts?

I want wins from here on out, as well. One game at a time. Prepare. Stay focused. Keep the momentum. Move forward with purpose and dominate.

Even losing vs Ravens, Steelers could end up winning the Division and 3rd seed.

However, winning out makes things less complicated.

This is true my fellow writing friend.

However, as you stated, winning out makes things all the much sweeter. Besides, given how well the team has played thus far, these two games will be just as challenging as New York and Buffalo before them but should be up to it.

Either way, win out. No excuses.

Winning the next three games allows the Steelers to go into the playoffs with momentum and it also states very clearly who is in charge and controls this division because all three game are against division rivals. Then 4 more wins gives us SB #7.

On to Cincinnati. Beating the Bengals is a must to keep big 'MO' on our side. I beg you all to begin praying and lighting candles for Juice. Bell must come out of this game without a scratch. I'm nervous as hell.

We haven't managed to not make things less complicated for the past couple of years... so it would be nice for my life expectancy if we could do it this time!

At the moment my main concern is focus. While we have a tendency to finish the season strong, we also tend to drop one or two clangers (just as we do the beginning of the season).

The offense is currently clicking in the way we hoped it would, even if Ben still seems a little off. So I'm hoping the team don't take their eyes off the next opponent, or start taking things for granted.

Defense is getting better each week, so they just need to stay healthy.

I hope we can get DHB back soon...I don't expect him to come in and dominate ,but I do think AB and Green need the extra room he helps create.....

Therefore, the Steelers will find a way to lose one of these remaining games and complicate matters. They always do.

But in all seriousness, what would the potential seedings look like?

    1 NE 2 KC 3 Pit 4 Ten 5 Oak 6 Den

We could have the Broncos at home. A win would then likely send the Steelers to KC.

Agreed win out is the best option!!!

If we lose to the Ravens and they win out we miss the playoffs. If we lose to the ratbirds but win the other two the birds still must lose one other verse either philly or Bengal to make the playoffs.

We must BEAT the ratbirds and one other game to make the playoffs...

There are 2 ideal outcomes from this weekend.

    1. We come out of the game completely healthy. That is about all I care about, everything else is just gravy. Yes, I want to win, but not at the expense of losing Ben, Bell or Brown.

    2. We win and the Ravens lose. That gives us a 2 game lead for the division, with 2 to play, and one of those is a Browns team which has pretty much packed it in. This scenario, IMO, gives us a division championship.

Our men are on a mission. It was evident when Le'Veon told Antonio he had to go get the game winning touchdown during the Ravens game.

Are they hungry enough? I truly think they are. :towel:

I once thought they were. I now know they are ready for this playoff run.

Time to exorcise some Belichek/Brady demons.
