If you take any top offense you can list all these things that build together to create that unit and its ability to produce at that level. Canada wasn't good enough. But thinking Canada was the sole issue is the kind of thing a casual fan that knows nothing about this game would think.

Steelers aren't going to suddenly have a top offense this season. They're gonna be **** the rest of the way because the QB isn't good enough, the line isn't good enough, and the coaching on that offensive side of the ball is below par, which is to say this unit is not advantaged vs their contemporaries.

Going forward is Tomlin willing to change that. And if he is can he attract the type of offensive coaches he would need to in order to lead a turnaround. I think the answer to that question is yes on one condition, which is that he's willing to bring in a guy who might be his replacement. Someone who can lead him to water with his staff selections and take charge of that offensive overhaul.

Back to Canada one thing the guy could do is dial up a run game. The team was winning in spite of him perhaps, but he was part of an overall effort that led to wins. I'm not so sure where they're trending right now.

Point is, the player on the field doesn't have the advantage of being able to see what going on with the aid of a dozen camera angles, especially the bird's eye views, that the message board Montanas have

So you gamble 1:20ish odds? And I'm sure you know, it's not like you gamble 10 times and get 50%. So do you know how many chances it takes until you "might" get lucky? Furthermore do you know it's not like we just fire every year. With coaches getting a minimum 3 years.

So we could be sitting here 45 years until we got a luck coach.

Tomlin's 1:17 SB wins to seasons. Therefore I'm already living similar odds, and so are you.

I don't think he would have fired MC without a lot of heat coming at him from multiple sides. Otherwise, he'd still be here. JMO>
