You know what killed me was that BS pass interference call that gave the pigeons their field goal. Both guys were fighting for the ball. Way to take the contact out of football rog.

 

Catch the face mask on the pigeons on that last sack of Smith? They gave the pigeons a sack instead of calling the obvious penalty... yet another game the refs have their fat fingers in.

As much as I hate to say it, I think the Ravens are going to win the AFCN.

I was looking at that as well. Smith clearly was arm baring the DB who slowed to get the "under thrown" ball and made the play. This seems to be the Ravens way of getting down-field in a hurry. Of course the announcers gushing over these tools is embarrassing. He's going on about a finger that got on Flacco's face mask, but chooses not to see or mention the grab on Smith.

Ben in the playoffs, Dalton last week, Smith this week. Bash to the head, bash to the face, tackle by the helmet and face mask. Suggs can literally do anything he wants to quarterbacks and not get called for it. It probably didn't make a difference in who won, but can any of you imagine what would happen if James Harrison brought down a quarterback by punching him in the head or pulling him down by the mask?

I am not a conspiracy theorist (although Pittsburgh's reputation has refs holding flags in their hands before the snap), so I hesitate to say they are helping Baltimore intentionally. But I do not know how Suggs and other Ravens continually gets away with blatant penalties like this.
